Seen them play twice in the preseason. Rebounding gonna be huge in this game. Also their new guard Rousey or Rowsey. Got to find him. He is a in the gym range player. He also looks like he is Wojo's son lol.

If this team can't find a butt for rebounding than executive than either I get one possession or they have to wear turus next year game. So over poor fundamentals.

Bradley Hayes has got to start hitting those little 'bunnies' at the rim. Gotta start getting a better contribution from him. Both of our big men have to be stronger down low. Stop double-pumping, Jessie! Go to the hole with some authority, Bradley!!
If our big men are stronger that'll make up for a lot of the mistakes made by perimeter people on defense.
Yeah... Preaching to the choir...

Tough arena and crowd coming along with 3 kids that can shoot the 3 very well. Marquette also shoots FTs very well. Not a particularly big team but very quick. This will be a major test for the Hoyas. Now that Govan and MD seem to be coming around it is very important to get Hayes going. Also Agau has flashed but remains too inconsistent and needs to focus more on rebounding. For now it is time to start MD and hope that he can stay out of foul trouble.

Marquette is an OK team, but if the Hoyas play well they should win this game. Take care of the ball and limit second chances on the glass and this should be a great start to the Big East schedule

So far this year, Marquette's D makes ours look elite. That, and they're down to about 7 healthy players at the moment. So, I'm terrified.

Not saying he should be getting more, but some guys do not play as well in short spurts of PT. As a crappy player, I know I didn't!

Marquette has zero depth. They can't afford to have anyone get in foul trouble. Especially if we get Fischer out of the game early we could feast inside.

Marquette is one of the worst offensive rebounding teams we face this year. They're 260th in the nation in offensive rebounding percentage. There is no excuse for the Hoyas to allow them to get a lot of offensive rebounds.

Last night his three 3 shots (all hooks) came from the side of the paint. It's a difficult shot with no room for error (the backboard will not help it in). He needs to fight for a better angle on his hook shot or, if he cannot get it, just try a simple bank shot over smaller opponents.
