AKRON (Mid-American)-- Keith Dambrot (13 years; 27-9 this season, 305-139 at Akron, 413-209 overall) resigned March 27 to accept the head coaching position at Duquesne, and was replaced as head coach April 5 by John Groce (former head coach at Illinois and Ohio). ALABAMA A&M (Southwestern)-- Willie Hayes (5 years; 11-18 this season, 52-95 at AAMU and overall) was fired March 7, and was replaced as head coach April 12 by Donnie Marsh (associate head coach at Texas Southern, and former head coach at Florida International and Division III College of New Jersey). ARKANSAS STATE (Sun Belt)-- Grant McCasland (1 year; 20-12 this season, at A-State and overall) resigned March 13 to accept the head coaching position at North Texas, and was replaced as head coach March 19 by Mike Balado (assistant coach at Louisville). NORTH CAROLINA STATE (Atlantic Coast)-- Mark Gottfried (6 years; 14-13 this season, 122-82 at NC State, 401-236 overall) was fired February 16, but coached the Wolfpack for the remainder of the season, and was replaced as head coach March 17 by Kevin Keatts (head coach at North Carolina Wilmington). NORTH CAROLINA WILMINGTON (Colonial)-- Kevin Keatts (3 years; 29-6 this season, 72-28 at UNCW and overall) resigned March 17 to accept the head coaching position at North Carolina State, and was replaced as head coach March 31 by C.B. McGrath (assistant coach at North Carolina). NORTH TEXAS (Conference USA)-- Tony Benford (5 years; 8-22 this season, 62-95 at UNT and overall) was fired March 5, and was replaced as head coach March 13 by Grant McCasland (head coach at Arkansas State). OHIO STATE (Big Ten)-- Thad Matta (13 years; 17-15 this season, 337-123 at tOSU, 439-154 overall) resigned "due to health issues" June 5, and was replaced as head coach June 9 by Chris Holtmann (head coach at Butler). OKLAHOMA STATE (Big 12)-- Brad Underwood (1 year; 20-13 this season and at OK State, 109-27 overall) resigned March 18 to accept the head coaching position at Illinois, and was replaced as head coach March 24 by Mike Boynton (assistant coach at OK State). ORAL ROBERTS (Summit)-- Scott Sutton (18 years; 8-22 this season, 328-247 at ORU and overall) was fired April 10, and was replaced as head coach on an interim basis April 10 by Rodney Perry (assistant coach at ORU), and was replaced as head coach April 28 by Paul Mills (assistant coach at Baylor). PORTLAND STATE (Big Sky)-- Tyler Geving (8 years; 15-16 this season, 112-133 at PSU and overall) was fired March 15, and was replaced by Barret Peery (associate head coach at Santa Clara). PRESBYTERIAN (Big South)-- Gregg Nibert (28 years; 5-25 this season, 419-409 at Presby and overall) announced his retirement April 12, was replaced as head coach on an interim basis April 12 by John Reynolds (assistant coach at Presby), and was replaced as head coach May 22 by Dustin Kerns (associate head coach at Wofford). QUINNIPIAC (Metro Atlantic)-- Tom Moore (10 years; 162-146 at QU and overall) was fired March 7, and was replaced as head coach March 27 by Baker Dunleavy (associate head coach at Villanova). RICE (Conference USA)-- Mike Rhoades (3 years; 23- 12 this season, 47-52 at Rice and 244-128 overall) resigned March 21 to accept the head coaching position at Virginia Commonwealth, and was replaced as head coach March 23 by Scott Pera (associate head coach at Rice). SAN DIEGO STATE (Mountain West)-- Steve Fisher (18 years; 19-14 this season, 386-209 at SDSU, 495-288 overall) announced his retirement April 11, and was replaced as head coach April 11 by Brian Dutcher (associate head coach at SDSU). SAN JOSE STATE (Mountain West)-- Dave Wojcik (4 years; 14-16 this season, 32-90 at SJSU and overall) resigned for personal reasons July 10, was replaced on an interim basis July 10 by Rodney Tention (assistant coach at SJSU), and was replaced as head coach August 4 by Jean Prioleau (associate head coach at Colorado). SEATTLE (Western)-- Cameron Dollar (8 years; 13-17 this season, 107-138 at SU, 118-160 overall) was fired March 13, and was replaced as head coach March 29 by Jim Hayford (head coach at Eastern Washington, and former head coach at Division II Sioux Falls and Division III Whitworth). SOUTH FLORIDA (American)-- Orlando Antigua (3 seasons; 6-7 this season, 23-55 at USF and overall) was fired January 3, was replaced on an interim basis by Murry Barstow (assistant coach at USF) on January 3, and was replaced as head coach March 14 by Brian Gregory (assistant coach at Michigan State, and former head coach at Dayton and Georgia Institute of Technology). SOUTHERN (Southwest)-- Roman Banks (5 years; 22-13 this season, 99-67 at SU and overall) resigned March 31 to accept the athletic director position at SU, and was replaced on an interim basis March 31 by Morris Scott (associate head coach at SU, and former interim head coach at Okaloosa-Walton College, now JUCO Northwest Florida State). TENNESSEE-CHATTANOOGA (Southern)-- Matt McCall (2 years; 19-12 this season, 48-18 at UTC and overall) resigned March 29 to accept the head coaching position at Massachusetts, and was replaced as head coach April 2 by Lamont Paris (associate head coach at Wisconsin). VIRGINIA COMMONWEALTH (Atlantic 10)-- Will Wade (2 years; 26-9 this season, 51-20 at VCU and 91-45 overall) resigned March 20 to accept the head coaching position at Louisiana State, and was replaced as head coach March 21 by Mike Rhoades (head coach at Rice and former head coach at Randolph-Macon). WASHINGTON (Pacific 12)-- Lorenzo Romar (15 years; 9-22 this season, 298-195 at U-Dub, 391-283 overall) was fired March 15, and was replaced as head coach March 19 by Mike Hopkins (assistant coach at Syracuse). WISCONSIN-MILWAUKEE (Horizon)-- LaVall Jordan (1 year; 11-24 this season, at UWM and overall) resigned June 12 to accept the head coaching position at Butler, and was replaced as head coach June 20 by Patrick Baldwin (assistant coach at Northwestern). Kelsey changed his mind March 23, and returned to Winthrop. YOUNGSTOWN STATE (Horizon)-- Jerry Slocum (12 years; 10-16 this season, 139-227 at Y-State, 710-535 overall) announced his retirement March 7, and was replaced as head coach March 26 by Jerrod Calhoun (head coach at Division II Fairmont State).
