Agree with 95 that those guys lead right now, but heard basically that same story about Prentiss Hubb going into his Soph season.... He ended up at Notre Dame.

There was a family incident that made him switch to ND from MD last minute. Things do happen, see Jamorko deciding he needed to play closer to home. Jeremy Roach is the best local in that class. No chance he stays home in my opinion.

Love the looks/game of this kid...didn't see his name on MM list, are we involved? Is there mutual (albeit early) interest?

Although just a sophomore, Roach has already picked up plenty of high major interest. Roach said Villanova and Maryland were the latest to offer him. He also mentioned interest from Miami, Texas, Virginia and Virginia Tech. Roach’s latest visit was to Villanova. “I went to Villanova midnight madness,” Roach said. “It was lit. It was cool and the fans support them a lot. The stadium hasn’t been built so they did it on the field and they still came out to support them.” scout.com/college/basketball/recruiting/Article/2020-Jeremy-Roach-shows-improvement-109060395

Staff is making up for lost time with Evans. Believe they have reportedly been to his high school to see him at least 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Plus Coach Waheed saw him twice in September. He was at MM and now he's back on campus again...

I like that someone told him our mascot is the Hoyas and not the Bulldogs.

scout.com/college/north-carolina/Article/2020-UNC-Basketball-Recruit-Intro-Jaden-Springer-109387676Jaden Springer Today, Springer is 6-4 and is training to play the guard position. That could change, though. His two older brothers and his father all checked in at 6-7 or taller. Even at 6-4, Springer models his game after an NBA all-star: Toronto Raptors all-star Demar DeRozan. "I'm a strong defensive player," Jaden Springer said. "I take a lot of my moves from DeMar DeRozan. I can handle the ball, I can pass, shoot, and I can score. But there's still a lot of things I need to improve on. I need to work on expanding my range a little bit, and improving my ball handling. I was told I could be anywhere between 6-7 to 6-10, so hopefully I'll get to that height and then I'd play on the wing." __ Georgia Tech, N.C. State, UCLA, Auburn, Maryland, Tennessee, South Carolina, Wake Forest, and Virginia Tech have offered him a scholarship, with Wake Forest, N.C. State, Maryland, Tennessee and Georgetown already receiving unofficial visits. Kentucky and Kansas are showing interest, and have been to Rocky River to watch him in open gym. "I'm just trying to learn more about the schools," Springer said. "I'm looking at what school I could make an impact at coming out of high school, and what school would help me get better as a basketball player and a person, and I'd want to do well in the classroom, too." For now, the Springer family is content with helping Jaden improve. They're not looking to commit early and while it's exciting when scholarship offers come, that's not something the family is thinking too much about.
