Based solely on the pictures these kids post after getting an offer, our best recruiter by far (if he were committed to it) would be AI

@jeffborzello It's a joke how good Hunter Dickinson is considering he just finished his freshman year of high school. 6-foot-11, makes 3s, hit a jump-hook Playing on the big stage of the Nike Peach Jam, Hunter Dickinson might have worn a number on his jersey, but it should have been a question mark. The 7-foot center showed emotion going up against others two or three years older than him. A 2020 center who does need to get his body right in the coming years, Dickinson is quite the prospect. The slew of college coaches in attendance kept asking, "Who is that guy?" Once they realized that he was just a rising sophomore, the raised eyebrows turned into heads shaking as Dickinson acted like he belonged among the elite of the elite. Wake Forest offered immediately after, becoming one of the first of many to pursue the Maryland native. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/nike-peach-jam-saturday-awards

He’s good around the basket with touch and passes very well out of the post, with an advanced understanding of reading the defense and where the play should be made. He also isn’t moved out of position by anyone, playing well in both the high and low post. Dickinson’s size, strength, and positioning helped him stand out as a rebounder. However, he’s very stiff as an athlete and slow, which hinders him projecting his value moving forward. www.nbadraft.net/nike-elite-100-top-prospects-0

They are just entering their sophomore years but it is going to be difficult to find 25 better class of 2020 prospects than Earl Timberlake and Jeremy Roach. Members of the Team Takeover travel program, each bring excellent, long-term value to their position but are more than ready to compete again the best, despite being two or three years younger than their competitors. Roach, an absolute blur with the basketball, held a Virginia offer before touching foot onto a high school hardwood. Tough, aggressive and a complete competitor, Roach tracks as arguably the best point guard in 2020 as he will be heavily pursued from this day forward. Timberlake, a 6-foot-5 wing with playmaking skills, will transfer into DeMatha Catholic this fall, as he should become the next great product of the famed program. A lefty built in the mold of a young Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Timberlake defines what it means to be a utility knife type of prospect, one that will also be highly followed. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/oladipo-camp-wednesday-observations

Corey Evans @coreyevans_10 What a phenomenal athlete Jaden Springer is. Markelle Fultz dimensions. Elite 2020 guard. Tony Bennett, Gtown, Villanova, Richmond on hand His team lost to a loaded Team Takeover 16-under squad in the Fab 48 finals, but Jaden Springer had me reminiscing. A 6-foot-4 guard with unbelievable feel and pace for the game, Springer does so many things that many others couldn't even dream of doing. Most recently, it was Markelle Fultz that had this fluidness to him that made you question whether he was playing hard or not, but at the end of the game, your head would have to shake at just how dominant he was. That is exactly what Springer does. Capable of playing various spots in the backcourt, Springer is already a better athlete than where Fultz was at the same stage. The fact that Springer has the gusto to throw down a 360-dunk in the middle of a game gives insight into just how talented and supremely gifted the B-Maze Elite product is. Wake Forest, Georgia Tech and Old Dominion are just a few of his offers but, with this type of talent, it is only a matter of time before his recruitment hits the national level. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/evans-takeaways-class-of-2020-impresses-in-las-vegas

While Loaded won the Adidas 17-under division, Team Takeover has set the bar at the 16-under level. Super sophomores Jeremy Roach, Earl Timberlake and Terrance Williams, along with ever-improving guard Casey Morsell led the way to the Fab 48 championship. This is one of the best teams assembled at the 16-under platform within recent years and the scary part is that it was missing potential five-star 2020 center Hunter Dickinson. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/evans-awards-las-vegas

Hunter Dickinson 7’0” 240 C DeMatha, Alexandria, VA 2020 - This young freshman big has a bright future. He is a lefty who can score with the jump hook over either shoulder. He moves pretty well for a kid his size and age. Still in the developmental stages obviously given that he’s only a sophomore to be, but he has the instincts that you look for in a young big. He has good hands and a soft touch around the basket. He can knock down an elbow jumper, but it’s not consistent as he airmailed a couple of them during one game I watched. I would like to see him run a little better. He kind of slides down the floor instead of picking his feet up and running with high knees. He’s not a great athlete, but he’s not a bad one either. He will be the type of player that will beat you with skill and IQ as opposed to athleticism and power. Has to learn to handle double teams better and be stronger with the ball in those situations. All of those things will come in time and he only can get better. Already ranked in the top 10 in the early national 2020 rankings and has the traits to stay there. www.nbadraft.net/nike-peach-jam-standouts

The class of 2020 in the DMV area is loaded with high Division I talent. McKinley Technical High School in Washington D.C. had one of those big-time talents this season in freshman Woody Newton. The scary part is even though he stands 6’8″ 165 pounds, Newton still has a lot of growing and development ahead of him. In his freshman campaign, Newton averaged 13 points and seven rebounds per game for the 16-9 McKinley Tech Trainers. More times than not, Newton’s length stands out over everyone else on the floor. www.prephoops.com/2017/05/recruiting-report-woody-newton-2020/
