Another idiot neighbor didn't realize there would be college kids in her area when she moved in across the street from the school and that sometimes, like on Homecoming Weekend, kids will do kid things: www.washingtoncitypaper.com/news/housing-complex/blog/20834990/georgetown-students-terrorize-campus-neighbors-during-homecomingTerrorize? Are you kidding me? Damned RB drama queen and her prissy, over-privileged attitude have no place in the free world. Too many dollars and not enough sense. Per this lady's facebook, she has a lovely view from her summer home somewhere. Should have thought about going there for homecoming weekend - the deaf dumb and blind kid could have seen this coming.

The article actually cites "general commotion" alongside other brutal crimes such as "crowding the sidewalks."
The trash I can understand, and the University should be proactive in reducing that and cleaning up afterwards.
But this article is literally just people complaining about living near a university. Come on now.

I love this part:
"In one case, I was told by a wobbly, blonde undergrad in slurred tones that I should have expected this before I moved here! Ironically, the neighbor I was speaking with has lived here before that cheeky brat was born."
I'm fairly certain the University pre-dates this neighbor's residence. The wobbly undergrad was correct.

I don't know, tas. I wouldn't want to speculate on the ages of some of those dowagers.

My half tongue-in-cheek assessment: Homecoming was too early this year. Students need at least another two weeks back before they get their tolerances back up to mid-season partying form. Too many folks have let their skills atrophy over summer and couldn't handle it, clearly.

From top to bottom, all students should be reminded that there's no substitute for hard work in the offseason.
