I mean if you look at '19 I am unsure if there really is any room for both of them. Looking at some public info (Cuse Insider, Stewart's interviews), Stewart is ours to lose.

Are transferring from Maryland, maybe headed our way?

More centers? I doubt P.E. would take both with so many other needs.

I wonder if the twins will go in separate directions.

Probably not. Some other schools probably would offer a package deal. Any twin wings out there?

Maryland fans do not seem particularly upset about their departure. On one of their main message boards - lots of talk about the twins being emotionally immature prima donnas who are difficult to coach and who were not well liked by their teammates. the press release from Maryland frames their departure as a "mutual decision" - which sounds an awful lot like them expressing displeasure with their playing time, and Turgeon saying "if you don't like it here, don't let the door hit you on the way out". If that's true, this Is the last thing the Hoyas need given our experience already this season. Add in the positional redundancy, and this does not sound like a recruiting priority situation.
JTIII was on these guys early in their high school career, but they committed to Maryland early (I think early in their Junior year of high school). Makhi seems to be the better player, and he might have some potential as an old school power forward along with playing center. But Maryland fans are saying that they are big and decently skilled, but not athletic, and not in real good physical condition. This could be a lot of rationalizing/complaining that often comes with a player's departure. But if what Maryland fans are saying is even close to accurate, it is hard to see these guys being a good fit for Georgetown. I'm sure we have posters who saw these guys play in high school who can give some first hand assessment.

So neither of them could stick out even one semester and they both play a position we are stacked in with projects and we think this is a good idea?

Ive seen them play several times. Makhi would be able to play a few minutes for us RIGHT NOW , only because of our situation. But he’s not eligible til next year obviously. He is not very athletic or tough on the boards from what I’ve seen. Certainly further along them Tim or Malcom obviously. Nothing I’m overly excited about. And the other twin isn’t much a a major D1 prospect. So real potential headache if they think they’re the Lopez twins.

The twins should go to separate programs. It would be a bad idea to take the package.

Bump. They pretty clearly followed Broadus to Maryland, and he’s not there anymore.

No.
They were overhyped in the first place and it never bothered me that they ended up at Terpville. I'm 100% certain Ighoefe ends up a better player than either of them. And I'm more intrigued with Wilson's athleticism. If one of these bros could come in and play backup PF for us right now I would understand getting him. But since that ain't happening....no.
This stuff is getting out of of hand. These kids just got to the program and they want out even before their freshmen season is done? Red flags everywhere.

To lock up two scholarships potentially on PFs/Cs who couldn’t even play until ‘21-‘22 would be roster malpractice.
