GEORGETOWN IN THE NEWS AGAIN
“Rieder and his Georgetown collaborators have a proposal, and the first thing they stress is that it’s not like China’s abusive one-child policy. It aims to persuade people to choose fewer children with a strategy that boils down to carrots for the poor, sticks for the rich… For the sticks part of the plan, Rieder proposes that richer nations do away with tax breaks for having children and actually penalize new parents. He says the penalty should be progressive, based on income, and could increase with each additional child. Think of it like a carbon tax, on kids. wattsupwiththat.com/2016/08/19/climate-philosopher-demands-a-tax-on-children/No comment necessary. Richard M. Coleman Georgetown AB ’57; LL.M. ‘61

I've got to say this much for Richard. . .he has only posted 147 times, and it seems that each and every one of them has spurred spirited debate. Aside from kchoya and eagle54, I don't think any of us has that type of post-to-response ratio. Kudos, Mr. Coleman.

Also, Georgetown in the news again as Stephen Bannon got his master's in National Security Studies. No comment necessary.

He's the alt-right media goon with no clue how to run a ground campaign at all who is going to: 1. ensure Hillary Clinton wins in a historic landslide and 2. hook up with the Donald after the election (which will send the GOP into the woods for a generation or possibly forever based on demographic trends) to create a massive media empire/Fox competitor, which was of course entirely the aim of Trump's candidacy to begin with coming as it does from a life long democrat/fake billionaire/tax-dodger/Russian despot stooge/reality tv star with zero fixed principles beyond his unquenchable narcissism.
Oh....wait you knew who he was right? My bad.

Oh....wait you knew who he was right? My bad. I think Drumpf stumbled onto the media entity idea rather than that being his plan from the beginning. He's not smart enough to have planned that from the jump.
