Thanks I believe they're both Nigerian so there might be some connection there. Regardless good to see a former hoya still loyal to the team despite his transfer.

Welcome back from Nebraska Mo. Is he on campus finishing a degree or something? He's not quite the Patrick Ewing Sr/Alonzo/Dikembe welcome wagon, but I guess whatever works.
Obiagu looks giant next to Ayegba, who is certainly no midget.

This seems a bit strange to me, to have such a short visit for a top 20-25 player with unreal shot blocking skills and have him spend time with Moses (no offense but did Moses even graduate from Georgetown)?... as opposed to one of the elite former greats...and when the current players aren't around, and possibly even the students such that classes could be attended...I guess its likely that he was going to be in the area and this served strictly as an preliminary/unofficial visit with the expectation of a more lengthy official later...I think we should make him an absolute top priority...if he were a guard/forward I would think Arizona would be tough to beat, but with our big man/shot blocker history and academics (if that's important to him) I would hope that we would have advantages...

Moses came back to the DC area last fall to see if he could find a job. I know that he received some help from faculty and others to do just that. My understanding is that he had no desire to return to Nigeria and didn't want to try to play ball abroad because he didn't want to compromise his US visa status. And, he had an injury-plagued college career (his problems followed him to UNL) so this seemed to be a good decision. I may be oversimplifying this, but this is the gist of the story.
I think his involvement is a positive because he understands the position of these students. And, it speaks well of the program that he still is a supportive part of the family.

Just love the family tradition and atmosphere around this program. Great to see Moses lending his support. Would love to see us reel this young man in!

He's got great size but how are his chair wielding reactions? This was just an unofficial so I'm not sure if there are any recruiting guidelines barring certain contact.

I'm pretty sure Moses was a graduate transfer exception at Nebraska so by definition he had to have graduated from Georgetown. Similar situation as Pryor.

I'm pretty sure Moses was a graduate transfer exception at Nebraska so by definition he had to have graduated from Georgetown. Similar situation as Pryor. Moses graduated, as confirmed by this article: www.guhoyas.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/052014aaa.htmlIf I recall, at the hoops banquet prior to his graduation, Moses gave a speech in which he spoke in a flattering manner about Georgetown. Additionally, I believe he also joked about Smith coming in and taking playing time, and stated it as a reason for moving on. I don't think there was any bad blood there at all. He's also a graduate of the school, and while he may have never reached the heights that some predicted, he seemed like a good kid. The fact that so many players stay loyal to the school speaks very highly of the coaching staff, faculty, and university as a whole.

The "other" site tweeted last night we have no shot here.
B&G, others, is it that much of a longshot?

He's likely a long shot, but you have to play this out and staff is developing a nice connection with him. They know they could give him the tools needed to have a long and successful career at the next level.
