Usually when a guy reclasses he gets better offers because he's a year older and more ready to impact and it reflects on better offers. Is that the case here?

I thought he re-classed mainly due to not getting high enough test scores to qualify to play this year plus he was young for the 2016 class.. He was getting some solid HM looks for 2016 this past spring..

He got to play AAU the past summer as a result of reclassifying. I'm not putting Walker down, I haven't followed his recruitment much.

I agree for the most part but theres more nuance to it than that imo..The fact that he would be an uncommitted 2017 HM player would make him a hot commodity in season for coaches

Can't blame him for playing out the process.

Can't blame him for playing out the process. I don't blame him at all, he should do what's best for him.. However I do believe that kids who go thru the "process" are less likely to pick Gtown..

Agree completely. If we can't close a recruit on a visit, the odds go down exponentially. Sales 101.

Seeing how close that Woodson team was the past 2 years if Walker comes here I think we have a decent shot at Boyd. If Walker goes elsewhere maybe not as much.

Lets not forget that the likely reason for a PG year was grades. Perhaps an offer is contingent upon an improvement in grades or SAT/ACT scores? Pure speculation but the point is we do not really know the specifics of these recruiting decisions.

We never really know the details of most of these situations, which is why so much of the speculation and uproar is unwarranted.
