This guy posted (or I guess retweeted) something on twitter earlier this week that was eyebrow raising (for me at least) and made me think he might not be the right type of guy to represent Georgetown. Not sure if our change in direction is related to the same issue (directly or indirectly), but I'm neither surprised nor disappointed to hear we're going another way.
Shame too, because I really liked him as a player. I was probably one of his biggest proponents on here going back to last season.

Disappointing news...I know he visited a couple of months ago, and it appeared that we were the odds on favorite...can you shed any light on why this won't happen...and was this our decision or his?

There really is no need to follow Gtown recruiting IMO these days. More and more I find myself only looking into a player's details only AFTER he commits to the Hoyas.

Especially with Yaboy posting any and all info about top high school players who are not even considering GU... I would ask him to funnel the high school basketball info to only players related to GU, but others have tried...

This isn't true Pr, the great majority of kids who get talked about have gotten "interest" from Gtown, they may not have any interest but that's a different story.. Tbh, I'm much more guilty of posting about kids who the staff isn't interested in than Yaboy is actually.. I think the staff bypasses low hanging fruit a lot while recruiting..

I like seeing the posts about kids who have some interest in Georgetown. Also hopefully a reminder to our staff that there are kids out there to view.

The way this is going it looks like we're passing more than just low hanging fruit. I'm getting more than a little concerned.

If we aren't recruiting him. Who are we recruiting That's a fair question if you ask me... I mean do we get the sense that any recruit we are supposedly looking at is leaning towards us or we are considered to have a really good shot at (top 3, etc)? Im not trying to be an ass but i think the answer is not 1 recruit presently.

I get the vibe we're not high on Garza or Rafus, so if neither Brown or Waters comes here (which is very possible if not probable) we're kind of screwed for this class. Which is funny because I until pretty recently had thought this would be a great year for us.

I could see us having a monster year. And if that happens we could have openings for a few kids that will see our success and want to climb on board. Just wonder if there will be talented kids available at that point, or will it attract the '18 talent?

Just wonder if there will be talented kids available at that point, or will it attract the '18 talent? Usually there is an April signing period, where there are still some solid guys out there. If we have success in the tournament generally, I think it could pay some dividends, though it would help more with 2018 than 2017.

Sorry so is this recruitment just dead at this point?
Is it literally due to something on twitter or staff felt he didn't fit?
