Very bad news, best of luck to the kid in his recovery.. I hope the staff shows a high level of interest regardless.. I still believe there's a good chance he reclassifies to 19. This injury only intensifies my belief. Another option might be he commits in this class and redshirts. Was hearing before the injury that Oklahoma St. was making the biggest push for his services and that coming home to DC wasn't what his support system wants him to do. Seems like a nice young man with a really good support system around him. Hope his recovery is excellent so that he can achieve his dreams.

My hope was a year away at prep school would help discipline/mature him so needing to get away for school would be less of a priority..

Coach E couuld help this young man make that next level step. Running with someone he already know gives him an up on his progression and the team's as well.

It seems surgical procedures are advancing. I wish him a complete and speedy recovery.

Best wishes to him. Do not want him here, for his or our sakes.

Really interesting read! http://instagram.com/p/BawP4Vkg3AM I'd take him as a first year red shirt just to feel him out and as a show of good faith! A.I. had it worst then this!

I agree. If he can go to school for a year and not play, we should know if DC is really a problem for him. If no problems being in DC, he was a hell of a prospect and if he only gets back to 85-90%, he is still a net positive.

His former HD Woodson coach made it clear in the post above that being in DC puts him "directly in harms way".

This isn't happening. Kid has a lot of boxes to check before he can think about playing college basketball anywhere. If he does and I really hope he does, it CANT be at Georgetown

Anyone know what happened to him, he tore his ACL and no other news has came out. Made a mistake over the winter. Will probably prevent him from playing organized ball for a while, if ever

Can you guys discuss this via PM? Kid made some bad/terrible decisions but no need to put his business out there imo...
