I don't know if anyone else reads Bill Simmons...okay, I know some of you do...anyway, he's featured Phoenix Suns benchwarmer Paul Shirley, who has a blog on the Suns' website, in a few columns. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you... "He Sead, She Said," the official road-trip blog of Sead Dizdarevic. Only on HoyaBlue.com. Of course there can be others...but Sead MUST be involved. I was thinking Roy should do it, but yeah, there should be player blogs. And if Kim Sarin is as funny a writer as he is in person, he'd be awesome too. Definately something we should try and do. Though what are the odds Hoya Paranoia will let that happen?

The contact info address on the domain name was the address of a USC practice field.

Didn't Bogut have a blog this past season? I'm pretty sure he did.
I think the best option is a player who gets minutes but is not a superstar. Sead is a very entertaining guy, but if he goes a few games without ever getting off the bench, I don't imagine it'd make for the most interesting read. Roy fits this bill nicely. He may or may not start next season, and he's likely going to average about 20 minutes per game, give or take. That means he'd have some in game experiences to write about, in addition to off the court stuff. He's also got a ton of charisma and is quite possibly the most recognized player around campus, so that bodes well too.
Other good candidates might be Ashanti and Wallace, both of whom figure to be prominent contributors and thus known by students, and both of whom, from what I know, are very bright and capable of articulating their experiences eloquently.

I'm going for entertainment value here. The clear choice from that standpoint has to be Sead.

At the VERY least, they need to bring back the player emails prior to home basketball games. That's probably as effective as any Hoya Blue email--to get an email in your inbox from a different player every game.
Of course the thing with blogs--how many friends of ours have blogs...and update them 10 times a day the first week they have them...and then just quit b/c it's too much trouble. It'd be hard to convince a student-athlete (which is enough of a time committment as it is) to become a student-athlete-blogger.

Obviously, Sead himself wouldn't have to publish the blog, much as I'm sure Paul Shirley doesn't personally log on and type his entries himself. Someone from Hoya Blue/McDonough would ask him some questions, and we can hear what our favorite Euro-baller has to say about various things. Come on, we have to at least TRY this. Sure it might flame out, but if not...pure comedy gold. (As opposed to pure Marquette Gold :
