We are not in sole possession of second place. Both we and Xavier have 6-2 conference records although we currently have the tiebreaker by virtue of our win against them.  ? Doesn't the head to head victory tiebreaker mean as of today we are in sole possession of 2nd place. If the regular season was to end today we would be in 2nd place. |

No. it means that if the BET was held today that we would be the #2 seed. We were in sole possession of second place for a couple hours until Xavier tied our conference record. |

I find the post game comments from the Blue Jays incredibly annoying. Statements like "we dominated them for 37 minutes" or "they didn't beat us, we beat ourselves" show a lack of sportsmanship as well as perspective. Who was leading at halftime? These type of comments remind me of Eastern Washington's coach guaranteeing a victory against us in the tourney. If you don't have the goods, you have to create an alternate reality where you do.
Despite our struggles against their guard play, I hope we get to face them again in the BET and show them how true BiG East basketball is played.
I actually thought they played well. Their post game comments though suggested that all is not well in Omaha.
