future150.com/jr/basketball-profiles/bj-mack-pf-2019 Scout’s Notes: Elite 24 Camp (August 2nd-3rd, 2014): A prospect with a high ceiling is the 6-foot-6 power forward. He is a wide-bodied big man who also has the ability to step out and knock down the mid-range jumper and even showed that he can lead the break on occasion as well. A prospect still growing, his best basketball days are ahead of him. College Projection: High-Major

I believe the 6'9" twins attended both Midnight Madness and the "Seniors Day" Game vs. Butler!

Is this a case of offering both to get one twin in particular? Gurus, how would you describe both twin's game and are both/either HM players?

Coach Hardy evaluated 2019 NY City PG Cole Anthony a couple times towards the end of his Freshman season.
Supporting Cast: Freshman Cole Anthony is a big addition to the 17U roster, and the talented guard will need to adjust quickly to playing with the big boys. Anthony is considered as the next great guard from New York City, and the son of NBA veteran Greg Anthony is ready to make a name for himself.
Team 2016 Outlook: Losing senior leadership, PSA comes back with arguably their most talented team ever, and possibly the most talented on the circuit. They can score and defend at all three levels and will ride the stardom of Mohamed Bamba through a rigorous circuit schedule. They get to showcase their firepower to the NY fans in Brooklyn, where they’ll face off against the three other New York affiliates. PSA will contend for the outright EYBL regular season title, and it would not be a surprise to see them eating Peaches on championship Sunday in July.

www.chapelgateacademy.org/freshman-jason-murphy-heads-to-africa-with-the-nba/Rising CCA Freshman, Jason Murphy (pictured left) was among three student athletes selected out of many applications received by the NBA players union for an amazing opportunity. He will accompany the NBA on a trip to South Africa at the end of July. He will be joined by dozens of current and retired NBA players, as well as league officials and coaches. He will participate as a helper in basketball camps for teens and children from all over Africa, and in international community outreach. He will be featured in Sports Illustrated for kids as well as on NBA TV. He will get to sit with players at the first ever NBA Africa basketball game. Mrs. Murphy shared with his us that, “We are so excited and blessed by this opportunity and God willing, Big Jason (Dad), Jessica (little sister) and I will all accompany him”. The family was very thankful for the encouragement and letter of recommendation from our Varsity Men’s Basketball coach and Assistant Headmaster, Mr. Frick Frierson. Mom stated, “I am sure that it was a major factor in the decision to select Jason!” HL tape of Jason. Love the aggression, looks like the real deal... Early interest from Gtown, UMD, UVA, Washington, K State, Virginia, Unc, others.... Jason Murphy went into his freshman year rated as one of the Top 50 prospects in the country, Top 10 in the DMV, and was rated as the #2 center in the DMV. So far Murphy has stayed true to form and done nothing to diminish those honors bestowed upon him. In fact Murphey who kept the trend alive of top rated DMV Prep players competing on the varsity level from day one; is not only competing but thriving. He is being considered the top player as freshman in all of Howard Country where he attends Chapelgate Christian Academy. Whereas detractors devalue the middle school ranking system, the trend continues at a 75%+ clip of players noted in said ranking competing on the varsity level and in the case of Murphy and the Top 10 contributing and making an impact. If that isn't validation enough then the interest he is drawing from JT3 and Georgetown University should be.When using the word impact, Murphy is without question Top 3 in the area and is vying for DMV Preps Freshman of the year. At 6’9 his combination of size, length, and bounce is off the charts. He's got a massive, yet still mobile, frame and can go up to catch lobs. He not only runs the floor well for a guy his size but also has relatively good agility, allowing him to patrol the lane at a wide radius with his shot-blocking ability. He's similarly active on the glass and consequently able to rebound out of his area. Offensively, he's a terrific finisher around the rim and starting to show an instinct for passing. His physical tools are off the charts and are the basis for his tremendous upside. While he needs to continue to develop his muscle and skill, he's the type of guy who is only just beginning to scratch the surface of his potential. dmvprep.blogspot.com/2016/02/believe-hype-jason-murphy-is-real-deal.html

OSCAR TSHEBWE EMERGES It was getting late on Saturday evening and like every travel tournament weekend, the eyes were getting heavy and all that you’re wanting is a good meal and a soft bed. However, after receiving a quick nudge to chase after a 15-under game, getting a glimpse of Oscar Tshebwe was all worth it where the fatigue and grogginess went suddenly away. Very rarely do you spot a coordinated and active, 6-foot-8 and 245-pound big man on the 15-under level. Tshebwe is just that as the native of Congo, who has now been in United States for six months, was practically dominant around the basket. Competing with a solid motor and running the floor with ease, the Team Loaded VA product’s bread is buttered around the basket where the freshman center doesn’t shy away from stamping his name onto the painted region. Attending Mountain Mission School in Granby, Virginia, expect to hear much more about the Congo native. He practically blocks everything in the lane and comes down with every 50-50 basketball and rebound within crowded spaces. While he failed to show off a back to the basket game, the Loaded star was still able to produce on the final stat sheet by way of his efficient and steady 21 points. While there isn’t a ton known about the star in the 2019 class just yet, he has the makings of a special college prospect. He understands his strengths, plays directly into them, and is willing to do a lot of the dirty work in assuring that the rest of his teammates can just play their own games. Tshebwe made strides Saturday evening in Hampton, Virginia, and while skill development is needed moving ahead, the upside is quite impressive for the capable top-50 recruit within the rising sophomore ranks. www.hoopseen.com/news/event/201605/hg-southern-jam-fest-day-two-oscar-tshiebwe-emerges___________________ Young Local prospect to keep an eye on

6’8” 2019 Oscar Tshiewebe Team Loaded Va 15s Just like he showed during his breakout performance at the Virginia Top 80 (where he took away the coveted Mr Top 80 award), Tshiewebe is a man amongst men. He rebounds in and out of his area and plays with a non-stop motor. Mix tape guys need to firmly place a camera on him, and let him do his thing. There are a lot of hits in his powerfully explosive
game.http://www.phenomhoopreport.com/news_article/show/651973?referrer_id=1593034

Is it my imagination, or does Scottie Lewis look a little like Reggie Williams?

Meantime, Georgetown's hiring of former Notre Dame assistant Anthony Solomon seems to be paying immediate dividends. "Solomon went over to Georgetown and he was in real early with these guys," Klatsky said. "What he said back in December was that the fact that you guys are here at Ranney School proves that you're going to develop the right habits to be successful at Notre Dame. And that's the kind of kid we need to recruit. And obviously him going over to Georgetown, he has the same feelings for them whether it's Notre Dame or Georgetown. "So they had developed an early relationship with Notre Dame and now both Notre Dame and Georgetown are interested with him moving."
