Indiana's Tom Crean, St. John's Chris Mullin, Georgetown's John Thompson III and many other high level coaches watched Lewis and Antoine this weekend, but one coach really stuck out to Antoine.
"I'm going to be honest with you," Antoine said. "Whenever any coach comes up and watches our game I'm usually pretty chill. But when coach Cal [John Calipari] came up, not going to lie, Jalen Gaffney and I saw him come up to watch us, that was the first time I've ever been starstruck by a coach."
When asked if having high level coaches like that come out and watch him play, Lewis says that it's just motivation, knowing that he's doing the right things.
"As far as my work ethic is concerned, it definitely has," Lewis said. "It means that all of the work that we have put in together, it means that we are on the right track. We are taking our training to the next level, and we are looking forward to seeing where that goes."With hundreds of coaches watching their games over the past couple days and Calipari watching on Thursday night, Team Director Brian Klatsky said that Kentucky as well as Duke have said that they will keep tabs on both Lewis and Antoine.
"They have both reached out during the season," Klatsky said. "They both said they have their eyes on them. Kentucky was here [Thursday] and [Friday] It's so early in the process, we are just trying to keep them grounded. Helping them doing really well in school. Most programs aren't looking at rising sophomores, so we are just trying to keep them focused."
As for representing the state, Klatsky says that while many say the talent level might be low in the Tri-State area, the youngsters playing for championships are showing that is just not quite the case.

More than likely Coach Waheed was the coach doing the early tracking and leg work under JT3 and still involved in their recruiting under Ewing.

Have to believe Cole Anthony will be a priority for Ewing. The Anthony's will probably keep a tight lip on all aspects of his recruiting for the foreseeable future.

Regarding Eric Dixon: Dixon said when he receives an offer, he looks up the school’s head coach and its conference to get a little background. That gives him a little bit of research to do now, with offers from the Big 12, Big East and Big Ten, plus Atlantic 10 and CAA. Picking up an offer from new Hoyas head coach Patrick Ewing meant a little something extra to the young talented post player -- and even more to his dad, also Eric. “My dad, he loves basketball, he watched all the old tapes, all the told films,” the younger Dixon said. “He saw (Ewing watching my games) and he was like ‘Eric, do you see him over there? Do you see him?’ “I just know he’s a Hall-of-Famer with a really good post game, that interests me, maybe he could teach me something if I go there,” Dixon continued. “I just know he’s a legend.” Dixon said he’s anticipating taking unofficial visits to both Georgetown and Rutgers in the next few months, working around the USA Basketball U-16 Training Camp, which begins on June 1st; Dixon will be one of 24 participants vying for a spot on the 12-member team that participates in the FIBA Americas U-16 Championship (June 14-18, Argentina). www.cityofbasketballlove.com/news_article/show/788273?referrer_id=1566508

Sure, not every kid is going to know all about Patrick and his accomplishments, but they will know enough to have a general idea with the parents completing the picture through stories of their own about watching him back in the day. This is a great example of that and sounds promising. Love seeing this type of thing happening already

Corey Evans @coreyevans_10 Maryland has offered 2019 top-35 @teamloadedaau big Armando Bacot during his visit to campus today @terrapinnation Corey Evans @coreyevans_10 #UCLA has offered 2019 top-35 @teamloadedaau big man Armando Bacot 3. Who is the most improved 2019 player you've seen this spring and where does his recruitment stand? I'm going to go with Armando Bacot. Maybe it's because I hadn't really had much of a chance to get an in-depth look at his game in the past, but he seems vastly improved to me. We already moved him into the national top 35 coming out of the winter, but I don't think that was near high enough. He's got tremendous size, touch, skill and instinct for a young post player and is one who I feel we need to think very hard about elevating to five-star status when we next update the rankings around the latter part of June. Bacot also seems to be a high academic guy and with him being local, I have to figure Virginia is going to make a strong run at him. Bacot recently saw Maryland, Virginia Tech has done some good early work and Kansas could end up an attractive option. — Bossi basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/rivals-roundtable-early-2018-commits-acc-legends-2019-risers

Top 10 player in his class. Not playing this summer because of a stress fracture in his foot...
