These aren't little white lies folks. The President is actively trying to defraud people into voting for Republicans.

Those are only the televised lies. By how much does that number balloon if high-level conversations are included?

I've scoured the board rules and I cannot find the rule requiring "objective commentaries." But I guess it is easier to complain about my commentaries than to address the substance of the linked articles.
ADMIN: Please advise. Thanks in advance. ;-)

To be fair, the lies are, objectively, lies regardless of how much many of President Trump's supporters like to portray verifiable facts as subjective.

Nonobjective commentary. GOPers are hypocrites as they sat by silently as Trump lauded Gianforte for body slamming a reporter and called the press "the enemy of the people" and his sycophantic ignorant supporters chant "Lock her up" and "CNN sucks." (Direct line between a nutjob inspired by Trump and his sychophants? To quote Don the Con, "We'll see what happens" but it sure looks like Trump's public hit list.) Republican leaders rushed Wednesday to decry the suspected explosive devices or suspicious packages sent to four Democrats and a news network that President Trump has repeatedly demonized, saying that such acts cannot be tolerated despite the corrosive tone on the campaign trail. Packages containing devices and addressed to former president Barack Obama and former secretary of state Hillary Clinton were intercepted by the Secret Service, while an explosive device was found at the home of liberal philanthropist George Soros. A suspicious package was found at CNN’s New York headquarters and another, addressed to Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), was discovered at a congressional mail sorting facility. All five recipients are regular targets of sharp criticism from Trump and his conservative allies. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/amid-a-poisonous-political-campaign-gop-leaders-rush-to-condemn-explosives/2018/10/24/56e0ae98-d7a1-11e8-83a2-d1c3da28d6b6_story.html?utm_term=.33c496710b67

In other news, more of "the best people" (not my nonobjective commentary but Trump's own description of his "people"): The hard-working staff here at Spoiler Alerts has some sympathy for the low-level Trump foreign policy flunkies. Jared Kushner has been an endless source of amusement. Sebastian Gorka got a White House job but revealed himself to be spectacularly out of his depth. Carter Page did not even merit a Trump administration post but has tried really, really hard to convert his cameo campaign role into a prime-time special. For his troubles, he has had his former professors speak ill of him, an unfortunate example of academics behaving badly. www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/2018/10/24/lets-give-george-papadopoulos-some-free-advice/?utm_term=.2b9e3d582921

I see a little boy, leaping out of bed to turn on the TV/computer to view his villain/Trump being "body slammed" by his hero on the white horse/Washington Post, then rushing outside/online to tell all his playmates/B&G posters all about it. And, then to watch his little playmates yelling "yeah, did you hear about that?"

This can't be a surprise, because lying is what Trump has always done best. It does seem that he's taken it to a new level, since the lies are extensive and particularly preposterous. Doesn't matter, though, because at least 35% of the populace DOES NOT CARE.

Did anyone pay attention to Trump making light of the recent attempted terrorist attacks last night? "See how nice I'm being?" To Don the Con, this is simply another reality TV show. Trump lacks a moral compass, but you support his agenda. Great. If you don't want to read these articles, don't click on the links. If you choose to read them and find any factual inaccuracies in the reporting, respond. Simple. In the home stretch of the fall campaign, President Trump has called Democrats “evil” and argued they are “too dangerous to govern.” He has denounced Barack Obama’s presidency and demonized former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, inspiring chants of “Lock her up!” at his rallies. The president has also used his bully pulpit to taunt Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) as a “low I.Q. individual,” impugn former CIA director John Brennan and fan conspiracy theories about liberal philanthropist George Soros. And he has called the news media “the enemy of the people,” singling out CNN’s reporting as “fake news.” www.washingtonpost.com/politics/amid-incendiary-rhetoric-targets-of-trumps-words-become-targets-of-bombs/2018/10/24/9dddc97c-d7c7-11e8-83a2-d1c3da28d6b6_story.htmlU.S. stock markets fell sharply Wednesday, erasing all gains for the year and muddying one of President Trump’s favorite talking points two weeks before the midterm elections. www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/tumbling-markets-complicate-trumps-midterm-messaging/2018/10/24/f6b2ccce-d7b2-11e8-aeb7-ddcad4a0a54e_story.htmlMore than 200 journalists condemned President Trump’s “sustained pattern” of attacks on the free press in an open letter dated Thursday, describing his behavior as “un-American and utterly unlawful and unseemly for the President of the United States and leader of the free world." www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2018/10/25/trump-inciting-violence-nearly-retired-journalists-condemn-presidents-un-american-attacks-press/?utm_term=.10e44aa24068

Where was the outrage when the Trump family had envelopes with white powder mailed to them?

Equal opportunity nutjob who also targeted a Dem so how did any rhetoric of any Democratic politician/leader inspire this nutjob? IOW, "whataboutism" and false equivalence. Do you remember Pizzagate? A fantasy fomented by the crazed right wing media and Michael Flynn, Jr? Another nutjob who believed the conspiracies of the right. Of course, right wing media raising prospect of a "false flag" operation. I'll go with Occam's razor. To quote one of Don the Con's favorite nonsensical phrases, "We'll see what happens." Much more likely it is a nutjob inspired by Trump's rhetoric given Trump's public hit list. Trump is an abhorrent and vile human being lacking a moral compass. Yet you GOPers defend him. De Niro's restaurant in lower Manhattan apparently also targeted per NBC News with a similar pipe bomb with a package also with the return address of Wasserman-Schultz: Other recipients included Debbie Stabenow, the Democratic U.S. senator from Michigan; Michelle Dauber, a Stanford University law professor who promoted an effort to recall California judge Aaron Persky; and Antonio Sabato Jr., a Republican former underwear model and soap opera actor who’s running for Congress in California. Frisiello’s attorney, William Fick, declined to comment after the hearing. Fick told the judge that Frisiello has substantial cognitive and developmental issues from brain damage he suffered at birth. He said Frisiello is profoundly autistic and has an anxiety disorder. www.washingtonpost.com/national/man-to-plead-guilty-to-sending-white-powder-to-trump-sons/2018/10/17/5bd05782-d210-11e8-a4db-184311d27129_story.html?utm_term=.a8533822d1dbA lot of people are getting ahead of the facts concerning the spree of explosive devices sent to political figures over the past few days. People are speculating about the would-be-bomber’s motive. On the political right, speculation is rife of a “false flag” operation. On the political left, commentators are already blaming President Trump. Nobody commenting publicly actually knows who is responsible for the bombs. And several initial reports turned out not to be accurate. The facts are sketchy and developing; here is what we actually know so far—mostly in the form of links to official statements and confirmed reports. www.lawfareblog.com/bombs-mail-what-we-know

Once again certain posters seem to never address the factual substance of anything the WaPo publishes. And the opinion pieces I link to are just that - opinions. If they wish to forward a contrary opinion and have a rational discussion fine, but that is sorely lacking by the Trump enablers/apologists/supporters. And was I just called "boy"? That is so racist!!! (I consider it a public service to help people get behind the paywall for those who don't subscribe to the WaPo!) Joe Biden also sent a pipebomb package -- FBI just recovered it in postal facility in Newscastle, DE.
