Were we ever involved with the kid? Does Hardy have a relationship from Chicago background? Agree we should pursue actively, but seems like a real long shot. Fingers crossed for Pryor as he is at GU today - doesn't mean we should not also pursue Moore - up to the point at which Pryor (hopefully) commits. Can't see any evidence of an offer from Georgetown, but as posted earlier in the thread Georgetown is mentioned in a few articles as having put in calls to show interest in Charlie Moore.

Moore signed a National Letter of Intent with the Tigers, but according to Irvin Memphis agreed to release Moore if Pastner was no longer coach. “Charlie’s mom insisted on that,” Irvin said. Irvin was flooded with calls as soon as the news of Moore’s decommitment broke. Irvin talked with coaches from Wisconsin, Northwestern, DePaul, Miami and SMU on Friday. “He just wants to go where the ball will be in his hands,” Morgan Park coach Nick Irvin said. “It doesn’t matter what conference or where. The key for him is to play.” Moore, a 5-11 senior, was First Team All-City and Proviso West Holiday Tournament MVP this season. The four-year varsity player averaged 28 points, seven assists, five steals. He committed to Memphis in November, choosing the Tigers over California and VCU. Moore is a good student and is now the top uncommitted point guard in the nation, so he will have plenty of options. Moore has two of his five official visits left. The spring signing period runs from April 13 to May 18 suntimeshighschoolsports.com/2016/04/08/morgan-parks-charlie-moore-reopens-recruitment/

sounds like that all but eliminates any chance of him being responsive to gtown interest, if there even is any. perfectly reasonable of him to be looking for that, though, since it sounds like it was his plan from the beginning.

Interesting quote, Yaboy. That doesn't sound like we really have a chance then. As thin as we were at guard last year, I think we have too many options at guard next year to promise him that he'll have the ball here Day 1. I mean I'm not gonna promise him he's gonna start over Peak, Mulmore, and Moseley at the very least.

Let's be honest Charlie Moore or Chris Lykes, before deciding look at how this effects scholarships and recruiting in the DMV going forward?

I'm sorry but for him to make a statement like that doesn't hold a lot of weight going anywhere else in D1 but that's just my opinion. Memphis was a D1 team on the verge of becoming a Mid-Major, I know GU wasn't great last year and there were a few other D1 that fall into that same category but you gotta realize there are 12 other kids on scholarships and some of them may have come before you. We need a skilled PG that's willing to add value on or off the bench!

He would be the best ball handler and passer out of the bunch and he can shoot it too. I'd definitely inquire
