I wish DM getting hard to support "The Ladies" on my paltry paycheck, I could use the raise...Haha Nah Sutton was present at a game when JMD went for like 25, 11, 7 assts 5 blks 3 stls vs Diakite so I'm sure they know/had seen him, and don't need my help.If we had more than 2 open ships they prob would have been all over kid... Some Highlights... Btw always thought JMD had more than a smidge of JYD in him www.scout.com/college/basketball/recruiting/story/1550859-highlights-javin-delaurier

www.scout.com/college/basketball/recruiting/story/1552475-roundtable-making-the-leapRob Harrington: Within my region, I was pleased to see Javin DeLaurier rise from No. 100 all the way to No. 38. The highly athletic forward from Virginia has enjoyed a great travel season thus far with Team Loaded VA, and if anything he may rise even further by the end of summer.
DeLaurier’s footwork, interior scoring touch and defensive timing for blocks all are outstanding, and his recruitment is soaringHope the staff can get a visit from Javin as soon as possible..

www.vantagehoops.com/news_article/show/523241?referrer_id=1102873Team Loaded Virginia Record: 21-4 Notable Wins: Championships at Zero Gravity Richmond, Big Shots Richmond, and David Rose Memorial
Quote on a player from the Coach: "Javin DeLaurier is definitely MVP so far this season. Malik Johnson has also played a big part with his great leadership." - Head Coach Michael Blackwell
Vantage Breakdown: The depth of this team is its strength, and no team in Virginia has seen the same number of players receive recruiting jumps. Javin DeLaurier has absolutely exploded onto the national scene (we'll have a detailed player breakdown this week), Richard Washington has emerged as a possible high-major target, Malik Johnson has picked up two scholarship offers, and Xavier Green has become an increasingly coveted recruit. And that group doesn't even include Mamadi Diakite, who has remained a Top-50 prospect nationally, and the guard trio of Jeremy Sheppard, Nick Sherod, and Justice Kithcart, who have all maintained extremely busy recruitments.
That's a lot of weapons on one team, and the intimidating frontline duo of Delaurier and Diakite is one of the best in grassroots basketball. They scored a 21-4 record in the spring, including a Final 4 result in the Adidas Gauntlet series, and they'll try for a run at the Adidas Gauntlet Finale title in July. They are currently ranked #4 nationally by IndiHoops.com - See more at: www.vantagehoops.com/news_article/show/523241?referrer_id=1102873#sthash.qOLDxNez.dpuf

Can't have too many good big kids - but of course you need a few very good smaller ones too.

Always one of my favorites. Loved playing with him at Yates. He and AI showed up there at the same time when they started on campus. Jerome kept coming for much of the two years he was there, but Allen rarely showed after the first two weeks or so -- it might be that Pops strongly "suggested" that he not. Jerome played it smart, though, almost never going inside where a freak accident might sideline him (that is, unless one of the other bigs from the team showed up and they paired off). He had fun with it; my recollection is that he had been a guard who grew late, so he felt comfortable with an outside game. Jerome was one of the nicest guys you'd meet there, too. Didn't see too much in the JMD mix tape that reminded me of JYD. From the reference, I initially thought he was #10 -- the taller kid with some handle -- but I know these tapes focus on shots/dunks and a few highlight-worthy blocks, so I assume we miss some of the video where we'd draw the conclusion yaboy can make from seeing more of him.

6’9” 2016 Javin DeLaurier (Team Loaded Va/St Anne’s Bellfield) The nation is finally catching on to what Delaurier does. He has risen to Top 40 status, and is still going. Delaurier’s best trait is his motor, length, and ability to defend. Delaurier’s offensive skill set and range is developing quickly, but his ability to defend multiple possessions is his calling card. www.phenomhoopreport.com/news_article/show/525472?referrer_id=1555437UNC Offered……….

Not many prospects in the 2016 class had better springs than Javin DeLaurier, a 6-foot-8, long and athletic power forward out of Charlottesville (Va.) St. Anne's-Belfield School. His strong play continued during the first day of the NBPA Top 100 Camp. DeLaurier was active and assertive during the evening session. He ran the floor with purpose, rebounded in and out of his area, contested shots and finished through contact around the basket. DeLaurier is tough and competitive and certainly lived up to his recent bump to No. 38 overall in the 2016 recruiting class. To go with his finishes at the rim and put backs, DeLaurier also flashed good hands, touch and an ability to make short and mid-range jump shots with ease. He’s one of the most improved players in the class, but he continues to make advancements to his. www.scout.com/college/basketball/recruiting/story/1556317-nbpa-day-1-evening-update
