"A lot of schools are recruiting me hard. But I would say it's Mississippi State, Southern Cal, Georgia, Georgetown, Notre Dame, Texas and Syracuse that I talk to a lot. And Auburn is also another one that I talk to constantly."

In advance of the camp, which opens on Wednesday, we asked our national recruiting team this question: Looking at the roster, what are you most excited to observe during those days of action? Brian Snow: For me two fast-rising bigs, James Banks and Javin DeLaurier (recent offers from Florida, Texas and many others), are the two players I am most intrigued to see. Both have excelled on the Adidas circuit, and both have put up good numbers to go along with a high upside. Now, against the best of the best where they will have to battle against big bodies every minute of every game, I am interested to see how they match up and if they continue their rise up the rankings. www.scout.com/college/basketball/recruiting/story/1554676-roundtable-high-impact-event

The owner of over 20 high major offers including Georgetown, Memphis, N.C. State, Notre Dame, Syracuse and Texas, Banks says he's in the process of trimming his extensive offer sheet.

www.thechampaignroom.com/2015/8/19/9178631/illinois-fighting-illini-basketball-recruiting-charlie-moore-xavier-sneed-james-banksThe Illini have reportedly snuck a scholarship offer to four-star center James Banks (Atlanta, GA). The Georgia native just announced that he'll be transferring to La Lumiere Prep for his senior season. That's the same school that produced Jalen Coleman-Lands and John Groce has a great relationship with the coaching staff. Banks has offers from 20 high-major programs (most notably Georgetown, Notre Dame, Syracuse, and Texas), but it appears that he hasn't really started his recruiting process Now may be the time to pick up the pace for this kid..
