From a UVA fan on KJ...
He just blew it up at our ELITE camp. Reports that he has the potential to be tops in the class. Said he has a great relationship with Bennett but its too early to name favorites. Fair.

I wouldn't read that his going to UVA camp means anything but he lives there and it's so early nothing is going to be decided anytime soon.

Agreed. Not like he is leaning one way or the other.

Talk to me going into the kids Junior Year of high school. He will probably spend more time on the Hilltop watching his brother play in the next year or so then he will be at UVA or any other school. We will have every opportunity to recruit this kid. He will see IAC probably before most other 2018 prospects. Over the next year or so, Keldon will have an opportunity to interact with the players and coaches much more then he will with any other school. We have a huge advantage here, so if he doesn't come here, it because it isn't his cup of tea.

Standard cinder blocks are 8 inches tall. 9 stacked cinder blocks are roughly 6' tall. Looks like Keldon is up to 6'6".
This analysis assumes the bottom cinder block behind Keldon was laid in line with the floor, of course.

You can't call it a true breakout when a player already boasts high-major offers, especially when that athlete has three more years of high school competition remaining. But Keldon Johnson clearly has accelerated his recruitment this month, as promising as it already appeared to be. I most recently observed Johnson at the Super Sophomore Camp a couple months ago, and here he has looked like an evolved player even since then. The 6-3 shooting guard actually played more of a wing forward role at the SSC, given the relative lack of size of those young prospects, but at Adidas he's playing off guard. And looking very natural doing it. Johnson wields a high-arching jump shot that finds the net from 21 feet, and he's even more accurate a step or two inside the line. Although not an explosive finisher (at least not yet), he's reasonably quick already and handles well enough to shake loose for mid-range jumpers. He's also highly adept scoring on the move, utilizing an advanced set of floaters and runners to thwart would-be shotblockers. As he gains strength — and hopefully continues to grow — he should become all the more dynamic as an offensive weapon www.scout.com/college/texas/story/1575395-longhorns-offer-2018-sg-keldon-johnsonFollow the link for a video with some HL's

Btw, the Jacksons and Mutombos should be on the way.

The 6'4 shooter from South Hill, Virginia brought his offense to the 2015 Super Sophomore Camp this summer, scoring in bunches. Arguably the best scoring wing in the nation, Keldon Johnson has seen his recruitment explode this summer as he's now ranked #9 in the ESPN 2018 rankings

I love Bowen but that doesn't sound like Bowen to me.

That was Fantasy Air Bowen. At 6'7", if he can play strong defense, rebound, and move & cut consistently in our offense (and have someone reward his cutting), he'll have a great Hoya bball career.
