Bobby Hurley found a place to go instead of Chicago and DePaul. He has accepted the head coaching position at Arizona State, replacing Herb Sendek.

HARD to imagine someone who would rather live in the Phoenix area instead of Chicago. Nothing against Chi-town, and some people cannot stand the heat; I am just saying that it might have been a lifestyle choice.

Chicago isn't the greatest place on earth. The South West is on the rise and people are moving there, it'll keep happening until they run out of water.

One reason it might be a mistake on Hurley's part to go to ASU--his recruiting ties are presumably east coast focus, and it can be a lot harder to convince recruits to go across the country for school.

Billy Garrett Sr. is back? I better sit down. That's a shocker.

DePaul has the potential to field a competitive team this upcoming year. I can see them doing better than 6-12. They won't be projected to be at the bottom of the barrel again will they? Would that be Marquette? I can't see Creighton doing another 4-14 season.
