Because I'm honestly sick of all the Hayes nonsense... who do we want winning Nova-Providence tonight? My personal thought is that the 1 seed is out of our reach and any result that will help us get a 2/3 seed in the BET would be helpful.
Also, now that SHU also appears to be on the verge of imploding if they haven't already, I think the conference needs St. John's to step up and get that 6th NCAA bid for the conference. Preferably they can accomplish that without doing it at our expense. Tonight is a must-win for them if they want to stay on the right side of the bubble.

After a shaky start, Xavier wasn't so bad on the road last night. St. John's has a tough schedule left. I don't see any chance of their going 5-3 without beating us. Which would, of course, be a very bad thing. I would prefer to see St. John's go on a run in the BET, again as long as they aren't playing us. |
