6-foot-5 freshman Brandon Slater may not have the name of his teammate, but those in the know understand the massive upside that he offers. The super athletic swingman produced at a high rate for both Takeover and at the CP3 Rising Stars Camp. The lefty showed off a good first step going to the rack (especially going left) and shoots it well enough from deep to keep the defense honest. Where Brandon is best is in transition, though. He is already an elite level finisher who not only looks to dunk everything, but can finish with creativity in traffic www.cityleaguehoops.net/2014/10/23/brandon-slater-displays-huge-upside-for-team-takeover/

Demetrius Mims 6'2 WG (MD) - Demetrius is a kid I liked from the start. A 6'2, long, and lengthy wing that does all the little things to help his team win. He worked extremely hard to fight for every rebound and was to long and quick to be contained from driving to the rim. Demetrius' future looks bright as he keeps learning more about the game and growing into his athletic frame. www.hoopsreport.com/news/eventreports/cp3risingstarsnationalcampday2recapPlays for Poly averaging about 10-11 a game

Immanuel Quickley 6'2/PG (Havre De Grace, MD) Baltimore Elite; John Carroll jcpatriot.com/sports/2015/01/19/34638/In August 2014, freshman Immanuel Quickley begins his high school career at band camp, playing saxophone for the marching band. While most students go home after a long day in the sun, Quickley heads to the gym to practice for the basketball team. Since then, not only has Quickley become a starter on men’s varsity basketball, but he also won the Dunk Contest at the basketball pep rally on Nov. 13. Quickley has been playing basketball for eleven years now, and for the past year has put in the hard work required to attract attention from collegiate scouts. “I love the element of competition in basketball,” Quickley said. Before Quickley’s high school basketball career even began, the assistant coach of Division I college George Washington University, along with other schools, including the University of Virginia, University of Maryland, and Clemson University, showed interest in the young prospect.

www.cityleaguehoops.net/2014/10/22/donovann-toatley-is-next-at-the-point-for-team-takeover/Team Takeover has been producing a strong lineage of guards of late. Randall Broddie just came off the board to Memphis, but Takeover has no shortage of guards. For the 2018 group, the one who runs the show is Donovann Toatley. Not the biggest guard at just 5-foot-7, Toatley makes up for his lack of size with extreme heart and will to win. He is one of the more fiery guard in the class and has no shortage of confidence. With blazing speed and super ball-handling, the freshman has been nearly impossible to stop from getting in the lane on the AAU and camp circuits

Kaleb’s little bro..
IT’S OFFICIAL, KELDON JOHNSON BREAKS FRESHMAN RECORD
In front of a capacity crowd at Park View High School, Keldon Johnson broke the VHSL freshman scoring record by eclipsing the mark set some 63 years ago. Founder Tony Squire was on hand to witness the great achievement. Proud father Chris Johnson, whose oldest son Kaleb committed to Georgetown last week was nearly speechless but added, “It’s been a crazy week and half but I am just proud. I am at a loss for words. All the work Keldon has put in this summer and in the classroom has really paid off and I am so happy for him. It would be all for nothing if he wasn’t such a good student. That makes me just as proud.” The Squires family is proud of Keldon as well, as he exemplifies the definition of a true Student-Athlete!

I wonder why they chose to play at different high schools? Perhaps that will make the chance to play in college together even more intriguing

Bagley was number 8 on Scout's Ultimate 100 list, one of only two freshman..
In his write up they stated his ranking @ 8 might be too low..

Vantage Hoops @vantagehoops Feb 6 Not obvious in box score but Paul VI 6'5 wing Brandon Slater will battle for the top spot in VA's 2018 class. Talent & intangibles. #VaHoops
