Washington didn't play at all this season, so I wonder if he might be able to play immediately next season without having to sit out. (I'm not familiar with his game, but curious about the timing).

He was highly ranked out of high school and played for Team Loaded. Not a need, but may be worth a look depending on recovery. Three years of eligibility left.

I heard he got suspended mid season, but does anyone know what he did to get suspended? He is supposed to be a very talented player but if he has behavior/attitude issues I don't think coach Ewing is going to be interested. They seem to have developed what appears to be a strong positive team culture with the current group of players.

looked at his stats. Dude shoots alot and doesn't shot a good percentage. I would say hold off into the summer time on him. I think we can do better.

6’5”, 225lbs. Illinois Mr. Basketball. One year to practice with team and three to play. Go for it.

Is this an instance where we would be recruiting more for talent/potential? Given that he’d have to sit a year, if he’s got talent and we think he could contribute he might be worth looking at.

Have seen him play alot, definitely has talent. He's a big, strong, athletic guard who takes it to the rack with authority. However, his shooting is broke. If we have a shooting doctor on staff, worth the shot for sure.

He'll have a year away from game pressure to fix/improve a lot of his game.. I'd take a shot at him..

Nothing about his shot says he can't be a good shooter in the future imo. Biggest problem for him has been defending HM guards. Think he needs to get in a little better shape...
The list of Freshman with poor shooting percentages is extremely long, but his shot mechanics are sound. He just needs reps. Kid didn't really start taking basketball seriously until his Senior year, so not surprising he struggled imo.

Thanks for posting. I'm glad the staff is looking into Felton. I understand that there are red flags but I trust that the staff will do the necessary due diligence and he would fill a need at guard. Would he be able to play next season? From the article it sounds like S. Carolina is the favorite.

Would he be able to play next season? From the article it sounds like S. Carolina is the favorite. The rumors are that he has herpes and has had some legal issues related to that, specifically knowingly spreading the disease to others - do we want this on Georgetown's campus? Obviously a talented player but hard to believe somebody that's done enough to get kicked off UNC would have a home at Georgetown.
