The real issue with Hayes is why he is not developing enough in the eyes of the coach to warrant more of a run in these games. He still looks very raw to me, but I do not believe that a player can fully develop in just practice time. I think that he is running out of "developmental" games in which to gain some experience this year. As currently constructed, the Hoyas are paper-thin at the post and one sprained ankle or other injury away from a real problem. Given the penchant of the two current posts to foul, it is possible tht Hayes will still be needed in some games. Agree with those who say he is even more foul prone than the other posts, but there is still value to a 7' body in the lane on defense and he is more athletic than Smith. While I agree that it would be nice to have Hayes as a decent backup big, let's not oversell him. He certainly isn't more athletic than Josh. Contrary to popular belief, athleticism isn't just about vertical leap or straight-line speed. Josh is remarkably nimble and coordinated for a big man, while Hayes often looks as if he can't chew gum and walk at the same time. This season GU has played 240 minutes so far of which junior Hayes has played 9 minutes. I wouldn't use the word "often". Btw, in those 9 mins, he had a beautiful backdoor assist while moving at the top of the key...chewing and walking...

Bradley is not very nimble, that is true. He has seemed to grasp the offense in his minutes late last year and this year. He is still well behind Joshua and Hop in terms of athleticism and what he can contribute. That said, there may be moments down the road when he could be useful for a couple of minutes, due to foul trouble or endurance issues , so getting him a few minutes here and there could certainly make sense - however with the regulars still figuring out their roles, I suspect Coach is more focused on getting the rotation players to mesh than trying to fit Hayes in just in case we need him later.

Georgetown (242nd) in 3PT% Would be worse but for Trawick and Copeland (5/8) from 3 point. DSR (8/28), Peak (4/12) and Cameron (2/11) really need to get going if we are to have any kind of credible outside game.

Haha, after they deflected the ball out of bounds off the break, Bowen went over to LJ and told him to look for the alley-oop instead of forcing the pass.

Wait...did a guy fall down defending Josh That was Montreal Canadien-ish - 2 minutes in the box for embellishment (or a yellow card for Italian soccer diving if you prefer).
