Can we add the Orange to our schedule this season? I'd really enjoy that.

Ball game. Cuse loses 73-59. That should bounce them from the rankings. Happy Friday!

Boy, that's a real shame. I really hate when that happens.

Even Dickie V toward the end of the game was saying that the talent level is down at Cuse. After fondling their berries early on, all of a sudden, at the end, they're not as good this year. Haha!! And Cal is not good against a press (to be kind).

And Cal is not good against a press (to be kind). In fairness, the Cuse players were practically conducting proctology exams on their full court traps. I couldn't believe nothing was getting called. But I think Cal only turned it over once and got several easy baskets. Agree that it would be nice to play them this year. They don't have anyone that looks like a difference maker.

But the inbounds passes were similar to those of our Hoyas in recent years. At least the refs were fairly consistent on both ends in that game. It was fun to see "New York's college team" lose on their "home" floor to a team that isn't all that good.

You know the world has changed when Syracuse actually leves the Carrier Dome and plays an opponent with a pulse in November.

Hoyaboya, IU is like the old Marquette squads with Matthews, Butler, Dominic James. A bunch of guys running a weave up top and then chuck it. If they are hot shooting, they are going to be a tough out. If they are off, it is a blowout. I don't see enough consistency there but they will be a challenge for the Hoyas. On D, we should be able to foul out their entire frontcourt but we need to make sure our D is on point and our guys are switching well. People in Indiana have grown tired of the Crean routine and he is definitely on the hot seat.

Cuse has a pretty tough OOC Schedule this year actually. They still have to face Michigan, St Johns, Nova and a really good La Tech team…
