I assume you were referring to my post. Apparently, you missed on the tone of it completely. For the record, I'm quite certain my nephews laugh at me already. That's sort of how it works. For instance, I'm laughing at your post right now. I suggest you re-read your post and decide whether you come across as superior, looking down your nose at your parents. "So poorly educated", "stifle a chuckle", "isn't that cute". Ed, isn't there a cloud somewhere for you to yell at?

I don't think this is the type of "Hoya Madness" to which the thread title was referring. Lol

For instance, I'm laughing at your post right now. I suggest you re-read your post and decide whether you come across as superior, looking down your nose at your parents. "So poorly educated", "stifle a chuckle", "isn't that cute". I get that your opinion on how it sounds is different than how I meant it. I did re-read it and, maybe because I know how I mean it, your perception of it doesn't ring true for me. Whatever. People around the age of my parents, largely, are poorly educated in most things technology. That's not a slight. It's just true. The chuckle part comes from that. To make it more explicit, it's funny and cute because my parents are well educated and knowledgeable about many things but technology is not remotely one of them. For the record, my parents never laughed harder in their entire lives than the time they gave me a set of plastic skis when I was four and let me loose on the back yard. It was hilarious because I sucked at it. My mother is able to ski but I don't think she felt superior to me because I couldn't.
