They just sent an email invitation to athletic donors of $50 or more. You have to claim your ticket through Eventbrite. The number is limited, so I would act on it if you can. Otherwise, you can try to get in when it starts at 8. In the past, it was pretty easy to get in without ID. You just had to wait until students were seated. Me too.

Is it me or does Tre Campbell favor Jeff Green? I kind of see what you're saying in the second pic. I think it's the smile. Can it please be November already? I know that the reports on Tre are that he's probably not as ready as some of the other freshmen but that kid looks to have a build/body ready for BE play. Hopefully, the skills catch up quickly. I'm fired up for this season. I know next to nothing outside of YouTube clips and scouting reports but this group is an easy one to get excited about on top of the normal manic delusion that is my standard this time of year. I haven't even played devil's advocate to some of the posters that think BH will get 15 minutes a game this season. Full-on blue and gray glasses mode. Let's go Hoyas!

Other than LJ, Tre is probably the quickest player on the roster and from Kenner League reports, he's a strong defender and with a strong handle.

Yeah, you see the stretch marks on his arms after losing weight. Josh[ua] is definitely slimmed down and looks much more defined. Wow. I'm getting excited now. Hopefully, this translates into quicker lateral movement, better bounce, greater stamina, and better defense. If so, watch out...
Btw, Tre will surprise on the upside. He's going to be a good one. Trust the staff. They know how to recruit. He'll be the under the radar guy that is the least heralded coming in, but leaves having left a big mark. He'll be ready to take over PG as a soph.

Joshua is going to be a stud this year. It will take some time for the group to mesh, with so many new players in the rotation, and with Smith having only played half a season, but I can't wait to see the Hoyas come February and March.

Have we found out if there will be a live stream? I remember there was one last year (although you couldn't really hear anything much).

I second the request to find a live stream. Would love to get a glimpse of Hoya Madness for those outside DC.

Talked to someone in McD. No live stream. Video highlights will be posted to GUHoyas. This really makes no sense. I'm not sure I'd even be able to watch, but don't you want to do everything in your power to hype your program and keep people engaged? I doubt a live stream would have huge demand, but in this day and age, it seems also like a necessity. It makes even less sense when you consider that it's been done several times in the past.

Hoya Paranoia. Opponents could scout our layup lines and uncontested acrobatic dunks.

Based on a quick review it looks like 2 on the main Fox network, 2 on FS2, 2 on FSN, and everything else on Fox Sports 1. The hardest access will be the FS2 games (and AXS TV when we play Florida in Atlantis). With the CBS network game, it means we have 3 games on network TV this year, which is nice. EDIT: Actually, the March 7, 2014 game on FOX network will be either Georgetown/Seton Hall or St. John's/Villanova. The other game will be on FS1. I'm sure they'll decide based on the matchups at that time.
