Syracuse fans fight Notre Dame fans. Video captures it all. Like the narrator says, "He got blown up!"

If ND beats FSU, would you then have them winning out (and presumably making the playoff)? Rest of the schedule would seem very beatable (@navy, @asu, Northwestern, L'Ville, @usc)

Rest of the schedule would seem very beatable (@navy, @asu, Northwestern, L'Ville, @usc) No. Irish hearts will break in either Tempe or Los Angeles. FWIW this weekend's upset pick is based mostly on FSU's lackluster performances against decent teams (Oklahoma State, Clemson) so far this season. In other words, both of these top 10 teams are overrated.

I surely hope LSU doesn't go 0 for the state of MS. I'm worried, though.

Clutch 4th qtr drive by LSU to take the lead late. Lucky to hold that lead, but big win for the young Tigers.

Week 10 Picks for Games that Matter: Florida State over Louisville (Thursday) Air Force over Army to clinch the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy Central Michigan over Eastern Michigan in a Michigan MAC Trophy game TCU over West Virginia UGA over Florida in the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party for the Okefenokee Oar Ole Miss over Auburn Texas over Texas Tech for the Chancellor's Spurs Ohio State over Illinois for Illibuck* (a wooden turtle) Arizona over UCLA Arizona State over Utah Missed one last week. Colorado State defeated Wyoming for the Bronze Boot. Does anyone know whether the Big Ten will be creating new trophy games involving Maryland and/or Rutgers? When Penn State joined the conference they became Michigan State's "rival." The two schools play for the Land Grant Trophy in the final week of the regular season. Maryland and Rutgers will play each other during rivalry week this year, despite the fact that the two schools have only played each other nine times and seven of those games were played prior to the end of World War II. *There have been several Illibucks over the years. The two schools record wins and losses on the "shell" of the trophy. When a shell fills up, it's time for a new Illibuck. Ohio State and Illinois have met over 100 times on the gridiron. library.osu.edu/blogs/archives/2012/11/02/the-illibuck-stops-here/

The winner of the Rutgers/Maryland game should be awarded the ESPN Quisling Trophy.

I know its a Thursday night, and Louisville has Petrino but Florida St. has Jamesis Winston who has scored at least 31 pts. in all of his games at QB. Can Louisville put up over 31pts on the Seminoles defense??

Perhaps UMD and Rutgers can play the game in Wilmington (about halfway between both schools) and call it the "Hi. I'm in Delaware." Rivalry in order to reflect the level of national interest in the game.
Despite being located less than 200 miles apart, the schools/surrounding area amazingly have almost nothing in common except for Interstate 95 (and fealty to Jim Delaney). CFB already has the "Battle of I-75" (Bowling Green vs. Toledo), the "I-94 Trophy" (which goes to the victor of the Wisconsin Eau-Claire and Wisconsin-Stout game), and the "Battle of I-10" (UTEP vs. New Mexico State). Here's hoping that the schools come up with a name for the "rivalry" that's not a road reference.
