...looking at game tape, yeah, you take this guy. he's more agile than roy You're just dead wrong on that statement. maybe. I should edit that, i'm not saying take him BECAUSE he's more agile than Roy was in H.S., but because he has some things to work with that most people don't notice. But, i'm actually always wrong on this board but that's cool

I get the upside argument - maybe with two or three years of conditioning maybe this kid could be actually functionally competent at basketball which would make him pretty good. But he's got project written all over him - this is not someone would can come in and average 15 minutes a game his freshman year or start every game his sophomore year and put in 24 minutes a game.

Definitely needs time to develop….
I think in the middle of a zone he could be a force though, if/when he gains some strength. Some of those kids he is playing against are 6’8 6’9 they look 5’10… That’s crazy
Honestly thought he looked more coordinated and more mobile than Roy. For being a slight player he did bang a little and had some descent fundamentals. Lost the ball a few times on weak passes or getting strpped but he didn’t really look soft, just looked like he lacked strength. Not saying he’s a banger (lol) but he was more aggressive and physical than I thought he would be tbh.
I see potential there, think the kid could become a player It’s just a matter of when that happens. Agree with TC he’s probably a couple years away. Him in the middle of the zone with Paul and Ike beside him might be a good defensive lineup in spots though even as a Freshamn. 2 athletic 6’9’s with a 7’6 kid in the middle would have to look pretty imposing yeesh. A nice option to have if he can hold his ground...

Hibbs looks pretty mobile in this video though so maybe wrong. Either way Tacko seemed like he moved well to me.
3min in FTW …

In my OPINION Fall is more athletic than Hibbert was as a Freshman. And I was on Roy's bandwagon before most. I felt that Roy was not as much as a project as most on the board at the time. But don't talk like you're God.

He's actually pretty mobile, it's his footwork that gets him messed up at times. He seemed to regress this year. But I'm a big Hibbs fan.

Isn't Tacko viewed as more of a Hasheem Thabeet type, then Hibbert? Roy was/is thicker and always had some solid offensive moves. Obviously he improved dramatically,,,but I always felt he could shoot the ball. This guy reminds me of Thabeet or Manute..(in terms of potential.) Definitely work a scholly.

Hasheem Thabeet has more than a 3 inch vertical.

Doral Moore 48th ranked player in the class and a 7 footer just committed to Wake Forest. So that should take them out of the Running for Fall and I believe they were the biggest competition.

Have to assume we are in the lead now. Especially with him coming to midnight madness.

Agreed. 24/7 had 100% of the predictions for Wake Forest, so I'd assume we have a pretty good shot with him now. But it's recruiting, so you never know. On a side note, Manning is putting together a nice recruiting class for Wake. As far as ACC teams go, they are one of the most likable...

Out of scholarships would be nice with Jesse coming in we are in much the same spot as far as competition at center for the 2015 class.

The guys on 24/7 seem to feel the same way about Tacko. 2 new predictions for us, and another guy changed from Wake to undecided.
I don't necessarily think the Moore commit puts them out of the race, but we'll see.
Bigger thing on our side is -- if we get him, we still don't have 40 minutes worth of C play for next season.
