If he's 6'9", who's the dude that comes into frame around the 1:20 mark in the most recent clip?
I'm really hoping JJJ ends up a Hoya.

• Park Tudor forward Jaren Jackson Jr., one of the country's top prospects in the 2017 class, had Butler, Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Stanford and UCLA in to see him on Thursday morning. The 6-9 Jackson has offers from Butler, Georgetown, Indiana, IUPUI, Michigan State, Purdue, Vanderbilt and Xavier.

I assume we're trying to lock this kid up early before any other big players come in? Seems like we've put in a lot of time

"I want a school that's academically strong and athletically strong," he said. "And also - when it's time - to decide if you're going to play at that school. You don't want to come into a situation where you're playing behind three or four guys. Then if the coach is good, if they have a winning attitude and the coach motivates their players to play great everyday."

There will be 3 guys here who are better than him at the 3 and 4.

I think that's just being realistic. He said he wants to play mostly the 4 position in college, don't think it's an indictment on his work ethic or talent.

For me it was more about I don't think if he comes here he automatically will find time. Derrickson will be the starting 4 more than likely. Akoy may be here. Mourning will still be here. That's not even looking at the definite possibility that in the 2017 year you could see Kaleb and White at the 3 and 4 at times.

Yeah but kid is 16 so what he says Sept22nd his Junior year is relatively irrelevant. He's not close to a decision. Plus even given your above list think there's still time for a talented frosh.

Jackson recently visited Notre Dame and subsequently picked up an offer from the Irish. But he said the schools that have been contacting him the most recently have been Georgetown, Illinois and Maryland. Jackson mentioned that he has seen Michigan State coaches at several of his open gyms too.
