Went off for 26 points, 16 boards, 5 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks in Boys Latin's win over Friends last night.
He's about to blow up.

Corey Evans retweeted Josh Stirn @josh_Stirn 29m29 minutes ago Villanova will be in to watch 2016 Boys Latin forward Kodye Pugh tonight. Georgetown was in last night. This confirms that getting Kaleb doesn't impact Pugh.. Another good look in my eyes.. www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/baltimore-city/north-baltimore/ph-ms-boyslatinhoops-0205-20150128-story.htmlPugh is averaging 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks per game.
"He's probably had 12 to 14 scholarship offers," Rees said, naming Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Northwestern, Temple and Rice.
Pugh's best performances came against Chapelgate Christian (37 points) and Loyola (27).
"He's been so pivotal," Rees said. "When you need a basket, he always seems to be in a position to score. The thing that makes Kodye so effective is that he can play both ends of the floor." I agree; good to see we're still recruiting him even after getting Kaleb. They both look pretty versatile, so I think they would coexist fine. Obviously the staff feels they can coexist, but it remains to be seen if Pugh feels the same.

The staff has a few ready examples. The Whittington, Porter, Adams, Hopkins class looked like a lot of 6'8 to 6'9 guys that on paper might overlap. That clearly wasn't the case.
The current class with White, Copeland, Mourning & to a lesser extent Peak could be highlighted as well.

I think he'd be a good fit at Northwestern.

I think he'd be a good fit at Northwestern. Even better -- Harvard.

Think they’re letting you know they are not fans of Pugh… haha Man, please. I'd take him in a heartbeat. Talented, unselfish, good student and a good kid.

Think they’re letting you know they are not fans of Pugh… haha Total misunderstanding of where I'm coming from, YaBoy. If Pugh doesn't select Georgetown, I'm hoping he winds up with the Crimson. That is all. Has nothing to do with me not being a fan of his. In fact, quite the contrary.

Think they’re letting you know they are not fans of Pugh… haha I wouldn't go that far, but we can get better players. He plays some absolutely terrible competition, so the recent numbers are nice and all, but not indicative of him being underrated.

maryland.scout.com/story/1507779-pugh-continues-to-impress?s=174On Jan. 28, Terrapin Times had the opportunity to catch a fast-rising junior from Boys' Latin (Baltimore, Md.) High School in 2016 prospect Kodye Pugh. Of the Charm City prospects we have been able to study this season in evaluations, this multi-talented, 6-foot-7 small forward may have the highest upside of any yet.
Pugh was impressive from beginning to end, finishing the game with 26 points on 9-of-14 shooting, 2-of-3 three-point attempts, while adding 16 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks and only one turnover. He accomplished these numbers while sitting on the bench for the last five minutes of the game as Boys' Latin won handily over Friends (Baltimore, Md.), 81-56.

Cliff Rees @boyslatinbball Sr Blair Brooks goes for 35 on 8 3's. Jr Kodye Pugh 26 from all over the court. And Sr Pat Spencer notches an amazing triple double outing.

He would be a nice recruit for the Hoyas. I agree that his stock only is going to rise.
