Alex Kline @therecruitscoop 10m 2016 WE R1 (DE) SF Kodye Pugh is visiting Georgetown today. He will visit George Washington & Northwestern later in the month.
I read on 247 that he's a high academic kid with a 3.8 gpa @ Boys Latin in Baltimore..
6-7 with a 7-3 wing span.. He averaged 14pts & 7 boards this past season..
Reminds me of the Kameron Chatman who's going to Michigan next season..

Pugh holds a 3.8 GPA with two supportive parents and has dreams of going to Harvard, among other schools.
" small forward. I like to dribble a lot, shoot a lot. I've got long arms so I cover a lot of ground," Pugh added. "Defense, I love defense. I always love getting blocked shots. stay close to the ball, stay close to my man, quick on my feet, and stay moving."

Harvard is to Princeton as Syracuse is to Maryland. Pretty sure it was on my SAT's.

That's an eclectic list to say the least.

Has anyone ever seen Harvard/Princeton in the same sentence as Syracuse/Maryland??? "After graduating from Princeton, Pembroke Burroughs Gilmore IV founded The Privatized Penal Group, whose success was assured by its focus on the lucrative Syracuse segment.

Love this, although I think one needs to be of a certain age to understand it.

That's an eclectic list to say the least. He's just demonstrating what a smart kid he is. Didn't you have a safety school or two when you were considering colleges?

For most people who attended GU, I don't think Syracuse was a safety school.

Doubt he ends up a part of the class. Not good enough if we continue recruiting the way we have.

I think we're his first high major offer. If any of our current wings do as well as projected, he could envision himself here.

I like it that Georgetown is becoming a destination for 6'8" small forwards. The kid plays long, has a diverse skill set, and is smooth. I'd take a commitment from him on a heartbeat.

If any of our current wings do as well as projected, he could envision himself here. cityofbasketballlove.com/recruiting-profiles/kodye-pugh-sf-2016/Updates (August 21, 2014): Pugh added an offer from Temple. (July 26, 2014): Pugh already has three Division I offers, from high-academic schools Princeton, Rice and Northwestern. He also told CoBL he’s hearing from a variety of other schools, naming Syracuse, Maryland, Georgetown, Stanford, Harvard, Miami and George Washington. “I’m working on ball skills, handling the ball, my speed and quickness, my agility anything that can make me a better guard,” he said.

Nice "handle" drills (and execution)!
Now, if he could add some bank shot drills from 5 ft...
