Hoyas247 @hoyas247 · 3h Bradley Hayes showing off some moves on the block today, has made back to back hook shots. Have him w/ 8 PTS (4/7 FG). #Hoyas
Michael Bohlin @mbohlin247 · 2h Halftime of the opening game today. DCX leads A Wash 36-31. Hayes leading #Hoyas scorers w/ 8. DSR close behind w/ 7 PTS, Mourning w/ 3 PTS.
Hoyas247 @hoyas247 · 2h Hayes has looked good on the block today, shown ability to score with both hands. DSR shooting 2/6 but hitting glass and distributing.
Hoyas247 @hoyas247 · 2h Mourning fell in love with the three pointer in the first half, has ability to knock that shot down but only converted on 1/4 attempts.
Hoyas247 @hoyas247 · 2h DSR with a #PUJIT (pull up jumper in transition) for three to give A Wash a 42-41 lead. Now has 12 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists.
Hoyas247 @hoyas247 · 2h Mourning puts the ball on the floor and attacks the basket from the wing then hits a mid range jumper after creating space w/ a spin move.
Hoyas247 @hoyas247 · 2h Bradley Hayes with a nice turnaround jumper to avoid the double team. Hayes having a nice day offensively with 20 PTS.
ichael Bohlin @mbohlin247 · 1h Another great day for DSR finishing w/ 27 PTS, 6 REB, 3 AST & 2 STL by my count. Bradley Hayes equally impressive making 12 FG's for 24 PTS.

DC Outlook @dcoutlook 25m And again! Hoyas' LJ Peak @ljpeak1 scores another: Tombs lead 65-62 with just over 3:00 to go. @georgetownhoyas
DC Outlook @dcoutlook 47m Nike Pro-City Kenner League: The Tombs with Hoyas' LJ Peak @ljpeak1 leads Lincoln Park 30-29 at the half. @georgetownhoyas
Hoyas247 @hoyas247 1h LJ Peak gets behind the defense and Jeff Green finds him with a baseball pass for a breakaway 360 slam. #Hoyas
Hoyas247 @hoyas247 27m Got a good one here at @dcprocitykenner with The Tombs leading 67-64 with 1:49 left. LJ Peak is going off, have him with 31 PTS.
Hoyas247 @hoyas247 36m If you allow LJ Peak to cross half court with a head of steam he'll take it right to the rim. Hes living at foul line due to aggressiveness.
Hoyas247 @hoyas247 54m Halftime: Tombs lead 30-29. LJ Peak having a breakout game offensively with 16 PTS (8/10 FT) and 5 REB. Peak's been attacking relentlessly.

True. there's something to be said about the way the points were scored vs. last year: do players look more polished?

Let's remember, it's only Kenner. Let's remember it's a Kenner tradition to turn every Hoya into a sure-fire All-American!!

That was awesome! Great job! This was it for me: "JTIII is going to have to let Peak play aggressively - otherwise he would be wasting Peak’s greatest strength. It will be interesting to see if JTIII is comfortable with allowing Peak to attack this aggressively in real games." This is what I said from day one.

Kenner is a bit different than in-season. That's no secret. Everyone is glad to hear that the guys look good. Why wouldn't they be? And I appreciate you posting what you saw. That said, it's not crazy to focus a little less on the numbers. Especially considering some of the flak that Trey took in his recruiting thread with regard to his preparedness to play at this level. I only know what I see in clips and read on this board and elsewhere. In other words, I know nothing other than highlight reels and discussion back and forth about perceived levels of competition (LJ got some of that too). But if, for instance, B. Hayes had a big day against a starting center with some college experience under his belt, that would be more to get excited about. Same with Trey. If he had some success against a starter at the college level, that's something to get a bit pumped about. As for now, I hope they do push one another to get better. That's what teammates should do for one another. With that in mind, I freaking hate the new stipulation about limiting the number of guys that can play together on the same team. What purpose is it meant to serve? If every current Hoya decided to pick up teams in June at a public court, is that a problem too? I only ask because I don't know.

When was the last time an incoming freshman went for 30 plus in Kenner? Not too sure. Dsr’s first game as a Frosh he went for 26 and followed that up with 29… Not positive he ever reached 30 (certainly possible) but do recall him scoring a ton in his first Kenner League season
