Apparently, they didn't learn the lessons from teams like the Pacers and Cavs when they took on a toxic player like Bynum. A player like that can single-handedly wreck a season. That would just be too bad if they took Sulaimon and he poisoned the Terps locker room, ruin their program's best team in more than a decade. That would just be a shame. A real shame.

Any word on Adam Smith from Vtech? I see him listed but without any schools as possibilities. I just have a feeling that Williams remains unlikely and although I like Collins as a player I wonder how good of a fit he is with our offense. I have such high hopes for this team next year and Smith appears that he could play the 1 or the 2 and with the ability to shoot and just 1 year left that he would still be a really great fit for us.

Good to know for future reference you can transfer with in conference and play immediately if you're a graduate transfer. (I'm assuming ACC has the same you sit out 2 years if you transfer intraconference as we do).

It's really weird that he went from one terrible ACC program to another. What's to gain? Maybe Buzz is just that awful or maybe there weren't as many takers as he thought.

Hmm. That's two guys who are transferring out of Florida. Maybe Donovan is gone to the NBA.

wow. we going to get involved?
EDIT: Can anyone clarify whether the intra conference transfer rule is conference-specific? Adam Smith went from Va Tech to GA Tech without a wait.

Would he be blocked to go anywhere in conference? How does that work? If not I would love to see him hitting threes for us next year, as opposed to against us like in the past

I guess they could block him from going anywhere? Can you block a kid from transferring to certain places if they are a grad student?
But I think someone just transferred intra-conference for their grad year (Adam Smith from VaTech went to GaTech?) and are still eligible immediately.

Gibbs may want to go to GW where his best friend and former roomate Sina transferred. Then again Gibbs would be in the same town as Sina if he came here.

Anyone still think that Seton Hall is in contention for Temple Gibbs?
Nah. I didn't think so.

Word on the Seton Hall boards is that Sterling Gibbs is headed to Notre Dame, with his brother to follow him to ND the following season (as they phrase it, a "package deal"). Other rumored destinations are UConn and Ohio State.
Meanwhile, the pitchforks and torches are again amassing in South Orange for Kevin Willard.

How has Willard survived this long? He has been able to recruit thus far, but I have to believe that has basically ended with Hall's implosion this year.

I would take Eli Carter in a second. Florida transfer Elijah Carter has plenty of suitors.
The 6-foot-2 guard from Paterson, N.J., told SNY.tv that St. John’s, Seton Hall, Georgia Tech, Clemson, N.C. State, Georgetown and Nevada have contacted him or people close to him.Looks like the staff may still be searching for 2015...
