A better way to watch Syracuse's last possession. Hope those Orange that did make it down there are enjoying the rest of the Greensboro nightlife...

A little buyer's remorse from the Syracuse board:
Lol at the local muppets here in ACC Country claiming it's the best conference tourney in the country. Damn I miss The B E Tourney.

Also like how Boeheim had two unused timeouts at the end of the game. I guess he figures they carry over to the NCAA tournament.

UConn-Cincy semifinal crowd in Memphis is sparse and uninterested compared to what it would have been in NYC. Looks like Louisville fans bought every ticket and then left after their game.

Great outcome for UVA - but nowhere near the electiricity that was the BET final. Enjoyed the look on K's face after the Sulaimon T - like he'd had some really bad fish. Also loved the short-armed attempt at a phantom 4 point play gift.

Go Hoos! I know not a lot of UVA love on this board but hard not to like how those guys play. And I'm sure this board can appreciate what they did against Cuse then Pitt and now Duke this year. Would be great to see them at least make the Sweet 16.

Would be great to see them at least make the Sweet 16. I think it all really depends who is in there bracket. I think maybe they can get a one seed which would be huge. having watched the last two games I think they have a chance to go far. They have a lot of guys who can dribble penetrate which is great with the new rules. and there Pack the Line defense will give team fits since it's least affected by the new rules. I think the teams that will give them the most trouble will be a team that can hit 3s from the wings and fast break and full Court press. those are the weak areas of Pack the Line/Bennett Ball. the style will produce close games but if you get behind by a lot then it will be hard to catch up without abandoning Pack the line So the key is to always keep games close.

Agree - a team like Louisville would be a terrible matchup. As a UVA alum, I'm always prepared for the worst - would be nice to see the good fortunes continue for at least another weekend as that would be a great thing for the program (obviously).

I wouldn't take it personally - I think most of the lack of "love" on this board for UVA comes from a general antipathy toward the ACC, for any number of reasons. There might be some old-timers with bitter feelings about the '82 game, I suppose Michigan State looms as a very tough third-round matchup. I don't think Nova or Iowa State pose as much of a thread as a healthy Spartans team.
