Is anyone else worried that the recruitment of Woods, Jones and Brown is starting to mimic that of Bacon, Trier and Dozier? Feels eerily similar that they are "interested" but not willing to commit.

I'm right there with you, seems we are 2nd for Jones, 3rd for Woods and an also ran for Brown. I am very glad we have Mosely in the fold. Hoping we pull one of the first three or it will be a wait and see spring scramble.

Is Bracey still an option if we miss on all 3 and Norvell?

I do think we are Norvell's top choice and I wouldn't be surprised to see a commitment this weekend.

Is Bracey still an option if we miss on all 3 and Norvell? According to B&G there was still mutual interest on both sides two weeks ago. I personally hope we land Bracey. I think the staff takes Bracey commitment the day after 7th chooses another school. I don't believe that Brown or CuJo affects a Bracey commitment. They completely different positions. As does Mosely.........

With the number of names dropping daily from our list of prospects, its time to play guess our next commitment! The remaining nominees are:
1. Seventh Woods
2. Bruce Brown
3. Zach Norvell
4. Daquan Bracey
5. Sum Randum Dood
Place your bets!

Given our recent success recruiting Chicago, I would go with Norvell. I would also think if neither Woods nor Brown commits for the 3rd Scholarship then we probably are looking for a top 100 skill SRD for spring, whether that player is a guard or a forward with some ball handling skills.

Sometimes a late bloomer but Doods in the past have been excellent players. Porter was that anamoly that came about with the Hoyas. To my understanding he was pursued by Mizzou when Mike Anderson was the coach. Then when Anderson left for Arkansas, the rest was history, thanks to then GU asst. coach Kirby. However, I'm sure the coaching staff will have a fall back plan, but the talent level may drop off.

Daquan Bracey 5. Sum Randum Dood Place your bets! I think the most likely scenario is Woods/Brown/Norvell commit elsewhere....the staff calls Bracey, apologizes for slow playing him, and begs him to take them back...after a few weeks of deliberation he agrees and signs in November...
