Josh Gershon @joshgershon 3m Watched Earl Watson Elite this afternoon. Good game by 2015 C Chance Comanche. Hit several midrange jumpers, played hard and finished well.
He's gotten off to a strong start this spring

JT3 and Broadus in home with Chance Comanche as I write.
May be hard to get this kid out of the west...but we are in the mix and would be a FF caliber team with him. Worth a shot.

i saw him in play in a tourney a few months ago... think he is at about similar level with Henry Sims at the same stage. he won't be an insta force like Greg Monroe once he get to college, but if he works hard on his game, he has a chance to be pretty good like Henry in his senior year. think he will have more motor than henry.

Agree somewhat with you Cosmo....but at the rate he is developing, he will be a force by junior year. If I had to guess, I think it's 3 years then the league for the kid.

Cosmo- I have seen in AAU and HS both Henry and Chance play. I think Chance has a much better face up game than Henry at the same stage. I think Chance would be ideal in our offense because he be deadly from both the high post and baseline. If we can another PG who can consistently get in the lane, Chance will not "clog" things up. The only drawback IMO is his lack of toughness. Getting a tough physical presence in the middle is a must have IMHO.

Great question. If I may jump in ...it's a question of strength. He's added 15 lbs over the last 6 months and it's no coincidence that he has shot up the rankings. The kid is mentally tough and has a high motor. So in my mind, it's really a question of getting stronger.

III watched Chance last night
Assistants from places like UCLA and California were watching while Comanche also seemed to draw a lot of attention from John Thompson III of Georgetown and Mark Gottfried of N.C. State.
Scored 23 in the loss

Said it before in this thread. He is the one I want most of all. He has an Anthony Davis skillset. He can be just as good.

In that clip, I was perhaps most impressed by how he not only blocked shots, but also looked to deflect the ball to teammates and start the break. He looks really good.

Everything went dark with the Hoyas as soon as Govan committed to us. He's a good player, has good instincts and should get to the next level, but needs to get a lot stronger. While most think Zona, UCLA making a big push.
