2018 Out of all the BIG's the staff is on in the 2018 class, Horton is my favorite. Love his athleticism, mobility, skill and versatility. Unfortunately I think Arkansas is the program to beat for his services.

Unfortunately I think Arkansas is the program to beat for his services. Must have been a really nice size payday! It's pretty surprising he would commit to WKU before already scheduled visits to Arkansas (reportedly his top choice/dream school) and Georgetown and an opportunity to here the in person pitch by one of the greatest Big man of all time. Before I get the "there's no proof" response, I put nothing past Crooked Stansbury.

I read this article while at work and thought that either PE is getting LeBlanc or Fleming or this kid has just lost his freaking mind! This article makes no since at all!

They're trying finally enj, although we did offer Anthony bennett in HS. I'm hoping the combo of GU's weight up there and JYD being coach pays dividends. My favourite thread. Always like seeing one of Ivan's posts.

Seems like the kind of player the Hoyas should look into. Rivals top 60 ( hoyaboya), NEPSAC ( EtomicB), and from my high school and hometown.

I went a bunch back in high school, but I don't make it back to Windsor much any more. My parents are still in Granby though.

Episcopal HS: Xavier Johnson 6'0 PG '19
Winton Woods: Greg Tribble 6'3 G '19
John Marshall: Isaiah Todd 6'10 F '20 Pretty sure Coach Orr was the coach into see the bottom 4. Otherwise Coach Waheed would be extremely gifted with the ability to be on both coasts at the same time. If he does have the ability, Ewing's not paying him enough 🤑

Waheed started his WC trip on the 12th. He watched '19 Xavier Johnson last Sat. Kirby watched Todd, not sure on the other 2..

I'm surprised I didn't see them driving around.

Last Saturday (September 9) and this past Wednesday (September 13)? I figured it has to be Coach Orr that was in to see Xavier on the 13th because the day before (September 12th) Coaches Ewing, Kirby and Orr were all in Mississippi to see Fleming. On the 13th Coaches Ewing and Kirby visited Leblanc in Louisiana and Coach Waheed was on the west coast in Cali. It's really all semantics and just ecstatic the entire recruiting staff is getting after it on the recruiting side. The main reason I bring it up is because by your previous statement if true, 2 different coaches on staff visited Xavier within a 4 day period which would seem to imply they have really ramped up their pursuit of the O'Connell PG?

Ahhh.. 2 different Xavier Johnsons.. Coach watched the Xavier Johnson 6'0 G (2019) that goes to Episcopal VA on Saturday. The one that plays for Team BBC. You're probably right on Orr...

Gotcha...makes sense. It's get a little confusing keeping track of both Xavier Johnson's in the DMV...

Plays at Hargrave with Connor Crabtree, wouldn't be surprised if the staff started to sniff. Averaged around 13ppg for Team United in EYBL play. Similar to Leblanc this kid is super athletic. His handle looks a bit more advanced but not quite as big.. 6’3” 2018 Trey McGowensOffers: VCU, USF, UNCW, New Mexico, St Bonaventure etc… McGowens game has been on a steep trajectory over the last couple of years. He has grown to 6’3” and is now playing so far above the rim. At Hargrave McGowens has been working on his jump shot, and that has become a consistant weapon now. Possessing deep range, explosion above the rim and a great handle in transition, McGowens is a highlight waiting to happen. Being that he is only 17, the strength will continue to grow. His recruitment could be fun to watch this year as it may grow to still another level.EYBL Stats: www.d1circuit.com/roster_players/17820884

I think you meant Matt Belanc. I have made the same mistake multiple times...
