That figure looks way off base. To my trained eye, he looks more like 7'4.75" in padded socks.

Cue the Josh Smith tie-in. "Bacon slices into the lane and dishes to Taco. Taco serves it up for Smith, who throws down the feed from Taco like he's Joey Chestnut!" Happy 4th of July everyone

Ok the most important question of the day regarding recruiting is Where are our coaches going to be during The live evaluation period. It starts tonight where is our staff. Where are Thompson, Hardy, Broadus and Sutton going to be. More importantly is Dan still donating the corporate Jet for the Next 2 weeks? With the cash fines collected for posts in poor taste i'm sure we can afford 2 jets this year.. Serioualy i had expected yaboy to have posted a preliminary itinerary already. I hate relying on possters who just happen to be going through the local jet aviation facility and see a coach passing through..

IMO, a taller guard is the way to go in a half court offense. Especially if he's got handles, he should be able to see over and break down opposing defense with regularity.

Looks like we should concentrate our fire power in Vegas. Seems like Bacon is blowing up which means less of a shot for us. So Chetham, Williams, and Rabb all seem more likely at this point.

ABDUL ADO/6’11 Georgia Stars 2016 Ado, nursing a strep throat, was still fabulous with his motor and constant rejections of everything within sight near the rim. His back to the bucket skillset has continued to develop as he showed a nice up and under move off the low block, yet he is most comfortable running the floor and dunking off of dump offs thrown his way. The highly energized Nigerian doesn’t take plays off, is a well-composed young man off the floor, and has all the tools to be something that only the elite level programs can chase after. Only holding offers from Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and Memphis, expect for this recruitment to escape the Volunteer State by the end of the week as Ado is a capable top-10 guy with the upside to be one of the best out of his 2016 class in five years. hoopsintel.sportswar.com/2014/07/10/reebok-breakout-challenge-day-1/

Jawun Evans is the second best point guard in the Class of 2015: I’m more and more impressed with Evans every time I see him play, and while I don’t think his No. 32 ranking in the Class of 2015, per Rivals, is necessarily low, it is a good indicator of just how few point guards there are in this class. Evans is super-quick with the ball in his hands but he’s not all that explosive vertically. He’s got a rock solid handle and I’ve yet to see him make the wrong decision with the ball in his hands, but his lack of a consistent perimeter stroke will make it difficult for him to beat defenders off the dribble at the next level. That should come with time, however, and the Kimball HS (TX) will make whichever of his final eight schools he picks very happy. As one high-major assistant told me, “the kid’s an absolute stud.” collegebasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/07/11/cbt-quotables-part-1-jawun-evans-diamond-stone-skal-labissiere-and-more/
