1st drive: Princeton goes 5 plays , 73 yards, 8-0.
Georgetown: Punt
Princeton: punt, but only 16 tds
Georgetown: 5 plays, 38 yards, but Kelly tries for the 2-pt conversion but it failed, 8-6.
On first play of following drive, Princeton player catches pass and drops ball. Picked up by GU and returns for TD. Another botched 2-pt conversion, 12-8.
Princeton next goes 84 yards in 15 plays, defense scooped by a 20+ yard fake punt which extends the drive. Score: 15-12.
Georgetown: three and out, Princeton gets it at midfield. One play, RB goes absolutely untouched up the middle, 22-12.
Georgetown: Three and out.
Princeton: Three and out.
End of 1, 22-12.

Why r we wearing our whites at homecoming? Not sure but they tried this a couple of yrs ago and lost to Bucknell. |

Hate the all whites. We should wear gray pants with whites or blues. More importantly, we look pretty lousy. Lucky to be down only 7.

I've never seen a Nike team with this template. FWIW, Georgetown has been wearing the old design (2010-12) home jerseys this season, different than the road. Either the home jerseys haven't arrived in time, Nike only provided one set, or that's all the budget would allow. Giving up points late in the half is a gut-check for a team. Seven points at the half is one thing, 14 is quite another. |

3rd quarter:
Georgetown three and out
Princeton held to three and out, then GU inexplicably calls time out on 4th down. PU goes for it and GU gives up a 58 yd QB sweep. Rout is on, 36-15.
Georgetown: Kempf picked off at midfield.
Princeton, 2 plays, 47 yards, 43-15. Defense is out of gas. 10:20 3rd.

Any juice our name brings to the PL is more than wiped out by our inability to host teams in anything approaching an adequate facility. Seriously, our lack of a decent high school sized stadium so many years after announcing our intent to finally build one is an institutional embarrassment that is bigger than athletics. |
