I would imagine him transferring to Paul VI would help us?

Every time I read his name, I think of the original MTV lineup of VJs.

Watched him on ESPN at the under 17 championships; teammate of Rabb. He looked very good: smooth, athletic, good offensive skills but didn't force anything. He didn't have much of an opportunity to do more because Malik Newman was a big-time ball hog...jacking up off-balance jumpers all over the court. I'm not sure why the coach allowed that to happen; Newman was allowing the Australians to stay in the game all by himself. But I did like Harry Giles and Jayson Tatum; those two have incredible athleticism and upside.
Back to King, hopefully his transfer to Paul VI will allow the staff to show him lots of love. He would be an incredible start to the 2016 class.

19 points, 8 rebounds in PVI's 86-59 loss to Oak Hill for King. Tough, tough loss. If PVI still had Curtis Jones, Derrickson, Chyree Walker, Scanlon, Dorsey, and Reaves, the outcome of his game would have been A LOT DIFFERENT.

PVI has been hot garbage this year. When you run off 6 division one kids that tends to happen.

Top players in Virginia 2016 The Top 10: 1. V.J. King - 6-foot-6 and gracefully athletic, King's natural basketball ability isn't matched by anyone in this class, and neither is his ability to score. The blue bloods are after him. 2. Sacha Killeya-Jones - The UVA commit should only improve for four years under Tony Bennett. Skilled, long, and mobile, the 6'10 forward has a significant ceiling on both ends of the floor. 3. Javin Montgomery-DeLaurier - Production, production, production. DeLaurier is a hyper athletic forward who can guard multiple positions, make plays out of his area, and score in transition or at the rim. He's trending up in a big way. 4. Mamadi Diakite - He makes the biggest defensive impact of anyone on this list, and he has the athletic attributes to play basketball for a long, long time. Diakite is a shot blocker extraordinaire. 5. Rodney Miller - He's very skilled on the low block, and a college weight program should capitalize on that. Miller can score in the post areas with the best of them. Being 6'11 doesn't hurt his cause. 6. Khadim Sy - His recruitment could really take off this summer. Sy is a wide 6'9 big who can control the glass. His terrific hands, feet, and strong frame make for a formidable post presence. 7. Richard Washington - Out of anyone in this class, Washington may have helped himself out most this season. And while his name has stayed local for the most part thus far, don't expect that to last. The 6-foot-5 wing is very skilled and can flat out score. From our seat, he's a high level sleeper. 8. De'Monte Buckingham - He's probably the best passer in Virginia, and that ability comes in a powerful 6-foot-3 body. Buckingham embodied consistency and winning this year for the state champion Henrico Warriors, and there isn't too much he can't do on the floor. 9. Joe Hampton - He recently de-committed from Penn State, and he's already had several schools at a similar level line up for his services. Hampton is an extremely skilled forward and a matchup problem offensively. 10. Xavier Green - One of the more intriguing players in the state, Green has seen his recruitment pick up of late, and he could be a summer away from breaking out. He's 6'6 and he handles the ball like a point guard. Green could ultimately play positions 1-3 at the next level . - See more at: www.vantagehoops.com/news_article/show/492826?referrer_id=1102873#sthash.aXGlovyI.dpuf

Do we have a decent shot with King, or should we be focusing on Pugh as our wing target for 2016?

Do we have a decent shot with King, or should we be focusing on Pugh as our wing target for 2016? Not a great one but he and the staff keep showing interest. Really wish the Hoyas would recruit #3 on that list been talking about him since last summer when he wasn’t even in the top 10 on this list. Kid is going to be a really really good college player and is really under the radar nationally. Va Tech is probably recruiting him the hardest. Head to head he dominated Diakite and SKJ with ease… Athletic physical big with an outstanding motor. Can make shots from the perimeter as well when his feet are set and a great student.

He’s going to be a beast on the Boards and on defense for some lucky coach… Gamer 3.5 GPA averaged 20 14 and 5 assts as Junior. Oh yeah kid can pass it a bit also
