Based on that link with Providence and Creighton being paired on March 8th and the ESPN article saying we will play Nova my guess at the other rivalries are likely St. John's v. Seton Hall, Marquette v. DePaul, and Butler v. Xavier.

So Providence is playing Creighton the last game of the regular season. I guess they had to match up one pair of protected rivals awkwardly. I bet this is the full list:
Gtown-Nova SJU-SHU Butler-Xavier Marquette-Depaul (an hour apart from each other) Provvy-Creighton
Not bad.

Depaul and Marquette have a lot of history, going back to their independent days when they would play home and home. Nice to see that history acknowledged.

right it looks like the reading of it that there was actually only 1 protected rivalry in the conference between two teams rather than 5 rivalries was correct. Only Georgetown v. Nova is a protected rivalry this year.

really bummed that Nova and Marquette games are Monday night games as opposed to Saturday. Butler and St. John's will be the big weekend games!?!? This will hurt home attendance

Those monday night games probably have a better chance of getting good crowds than the early Saturday afternoon games.

Mostly happy to finally have the schedule - but kind of bummed that the BET final won't be on FOX. You'd think on a Saturday night they'd squeeze it onto the big channel.

Those monday night games probably have a better chance of getting good crowds than the early Saturday afternoon games. Well, they're an hour later than the Saturday games have been historically. An extra hour to sleep off hangovers or get the kids together/ready to go (or, if you are a really good parent...both).

Those monday night games probably have a better chance of getting good crowds than the early Saturday afternoon games. I doubt it - I bet 8 of the 10 biggest crowds at MCI/Verizon have been Saturday games - certainly the two Duke games, last year's Cuse game come to mind immediately. Out of town alums and traveling visiting fans are much more likely to come on Saturday than on Monday. No game on March 1 - I don't understand how that happens when you have an even number of teams in the conference. Best road trip - maybe at Butler 1/11? I suppose at Nova on 3/8, but tough (for me, at least) to be in Philly that weekend if you want to be at MSG the next weekend.

The official release on the Big East website says at least 1 BE game to be named later will be broadcast on regular Fox. So it could be the final.

Another potentially tough stretch is:
Monday, Jan. 20 Marquette at Georgetown 9:00 FOX Sports 1 Saturday, Jan. 25 Georgetown at Creighton 8:00 FOX Sports 1 Monday, Jan. 27 Villanova at Georgetown 9:00 FOX Sports 1 SATURDAY, Feb. 1 GEORGETOWN VS MICHIGAN STATE at MSG Monday, Feb. 3 Georgetown at DePaul 9:00 FOX Sports 1 Saturday, Feb. 8 Butler at Georgetown 1:00 CBS
Tough opponents and even DePaul could be tricky because it's a road game 2 days after Michigan State game. The first game against Marquette on January 20 is 2 days after a game (albeit a home game) vs Seton Hall on Saturday January 18. The January 25 game at Creighton begins a 4 game and 4 cities in 10 day stretch that ends at DePaul.
