Ok this I think is a good sign. Maybe it will pressure one of them to commit after the weekend is over.

Has he set up any other visits? Also, is it out of the realm of possibilities that Woods and Brown hit it off and both wanna come play here and form a dominant backcourt? Maybe I'm just dreaming but could you imagine those two combined with the talent we have at the 3 and 4 plus Jessie?! Wow, look out college basketball!

I'm happy to hear that Seventh has scheduled his official and, with zero information whatsoever, I'm feeling alright about our chances with him.

Any insights into whether we would sign two more guards to fill out this recruiting cycle (woods, brown, banks, jones) if two were willing to commit. Great talent, but seems that would increase the unbalance in our roster construction in the size of certain classes and similar players within year groups.

The thing is when you see Brown play he can play at the 3. I wouldn't be worried about fitting them into a perfect puzzle if he decided to come.

In my opinion, with this type of talent, if they're willing to commit you take them and figure out roster balance later.

Completely agree. You take players like Woods and Brown and figure out the guard situation later. CuJo is a little tougher call. Not a slam dunk scholly, depending on how others shake out imo.

Any two of Woods, Brown or Jones would likely start. So yes, you can take two. We know we lose DSR and my guess is that we lose 1 or 2 more starters. We will easily have the room for one or two combo guards.

It's fun to speculate and think about how many of these three top guards we would take if.....
But really, I'll be THRILLED if we get any ONE of them to commit!

I know we haven't seen much of Tre but the sample from last season tells me he can hit an open shot but has a long way to go towards becoming an effective penetrator and distributor never mind serious questions about him defensively. Clearly that could change this season but at this point taking those 2 would be an improvement. Don't think it even likely IIIs not the type to recruit over players and if it happened our most recent commitment would most likely seek a new venue.

Nah I don't think so Jagan looks like a big picture kinda guy. He picked GU not for it will get me to the NBA reasons.

Tre's defense was above average for a Freshman, like all freshman he made some mistakes but he get's after it in my view. None of those kids are great distributors so that's kind of irrelevant. The only guy in that group I'd put over Tre right now is Bruce Brown and they don't play the same position. By the time they reach campus Tre will be a Junior with 2 years of experience playing major minutes at the HM level against the best of the best. These kids are talented but.... Regardless of starting they would be stepping into 25-30 min a game possibly so it doesn't really matter

Tre will start next year that's no question. As much as Seventh Woods would mean for recruiting perception. I want Brown badly. I just like how that kid plays he basically Jabril with more talent.

I've been watching this kid since he was in 8th grade, crazy athlete. He plays for Hampton HS which is right around the corner from University of South Carolina where I just graduated from. Gyms were always sold out to see this kid play. Hoping he chooses the Hoyas or Cocks. Heard a few years back that his dream was to play for UNC.
