Lubick, Hopkins, Ayegba, Hayes, and maybe Adams for maybe 1.5 - 2 slots (assuming there are times when Porter plays PF). How is this something to be "terrified" about? The only person on that list that I trust to get a bucket is Hop, and he's a bit undersized for center. I loved Vaughn, but he was small and struggled against Big East competition, and I think it's going to happen again. I think the majority of our scoring is going to come from Starks, Jabril, DSR, Porter and Whit. The five-headed low-block monster is just going to have to give us rebounds and defense. I think between the five of them, we can get 15 points a game.

Jon Koncak Skills Academy. Say what you will, but Jon Koncak was an All-American, a Olympic gold medalist, the #5 pick in the NBA draft, and despite limited offensive skills was among the 30 highest paid players in the league at the time he retired. Not a bad track record to aspire to, and how many other players could have got SMU as high as a #2 ranking in the 1985 AP Poll?

Koncak averaged 15.5 ppg and 11.5 rpg in '84 when we beat them in the tourney during our title run.

I always liked Jon Koncak because his name sounds like Kon Kan. And "I Beg Your Pardon" is one of the greatest new wave songs of all time.

Seems silly to be terrified about anything at this point in the year. The players will improve a lot by the end of the summer. It's not like we have a game tomorrow. We also have not seen Hayes or Lubick play yet this summer.

We also have not seen Hayes or Lubick play yet this summer. Nor Tyler Adams, although his status/ability to ever play appears unclear.

He was quite effective early in the season because gtown actually teaches their bigs post moves but wore down late in the season. I'm looking forward to seeing Hopkins progression this year we'll definitely need him to step up to keep teams honest but he's definitely not going to be relied on to be a primary scorer.

Bolden swatted a lot of air and whiffed on a lot of rebounds
I was pleasantly surprised by his outside shot, range, and form.
I cannot wait to see DSR play with Otto.

Lubick is currently attending the Marvin Webster Skills Academy. Aaron Gray is a player coach.
