With his all around skill set for his size and his lack of great athleticism, for those who have seen a lot of him, is Georges Niang a decent comp?

He reminds me a little of Mike Miller when he played at Florida. They are roughly the same size and both can shoot the three. I know comparing him to a guy who was drafted 5th might seem a little hyped but that who he reminds me of.

College Draymond is a pretty common college comp. If he's as good a college player as College Draymond, he'll be great. Pro Draymond is something we really shouldn't even consider.

What about Jayvaughn Pinkston? Pinkston can play the four or five, good defender, solid rebounder, can shoot, or put the ball on the ground. I have only watched a few clips of Derrickson, but I see similarities. Somebody with Pinkston's skill set would be great in our offense. Thoughts?

Thanks for posting the video YaBoyNyP. Lots to like about Marcus. I think the Dwight Stewart comparison is a pretty good one, although Dwight had around 30 more pounds on him. Marcus has a really nice shot -- he has nice finish and good arc to the shot. He isn't just a big guy who shoots well-- In my opinion a big guy shouldn't get bonus points for being a decent shooter "for his size" -- if that is the case, you are still not going to want them taking those shots. What you want is a guy like Marcus who is just a flat out good shooter. That is when you really are able to create some mismatches and difficulties for the other team. He also isn't afraid to play down low which I like to see. He had a few nice drop steps . He doesn't really look all that athletic, but if a team tries to guard him with a 6'7" PF, it looks like he could exploit that on the block.

He's got long arms, which helps make up for any deficiencies in height and hops against elite PFs in college.

Marcus plays on a team with guys signed to play with UConn, Arizona, Georgetown, Louisville, Wisconsin, and UVA??? Wow! Averaging 12 and 6 on a team like this is like averaging 24 and 12 at a lot of other places. Copeland's numbers from Brewster last year were similarly muted, and we see how ready he is to play on the college level. That is one helluva high school program. That is the way Brewster rolls: www.brewsteracademy.org/RelId/648195/ISvars/default/Bobcats_Well_Represented_in_March_Madness.htm
