As a Wizards fan, I'm hoping they select Hollis with one of thier 2nd rd picks. A reasonably athletic, 6-8 guy who can stroke it from 3. What's not to like? Wiz moved Rashard Lewis and the 46th pick to NO for Okafor and Ariza, so he'd have to go at no. 32.

Trying to figure out the logic of that trade for the wiz. They add two overpaid players for two more years vs. one for one. They must be in the "be mediocre now" business. I like Hollis with the Pacers at 26th in the first.

Not really any free agents that the Wiz had a realistic shot at (dont tell me gordon, jeff or mayo - wasn't gonna happen). Better to improve to a playoff team than to miss out on the impact guys. Wall, Beal, Ariza, Nene, Okafor is a playoff team.
It's also important to note that the clown culture that Blatche, Javale, and Nick created is important to get rid of. It's a slow process, but I think that this is a SIGNIFICANT step forward.

They're not going to make a big splash this year, but maybe they try to move Okafor and Ariza in a year or two? That's the best I got.

It's not a playoff team. It might be the worst shooting team in the NBA.

Wow. Congrats to Hollis if true. 3 years guaranteed for an undrafted guy is unusual and pretty awesome. I remember reading OKC liked him, and they do have a need for spot up guys on the off chance that Westbrook periodically decides to pass.

Wow congratulations to Hollis. Would've preferred he was drafted, but glad he made it anyway! Another Jersey for the Wall!

Is it guaranteed? Or is it like what Kevin Jones signed (w the Cavs, I think)?

Debra is looking for a house to buy on OKC. Dude, just stop. You aren't on a first-name basis with Hollis' mom...All it does is make you sound creepy.
