That was awesome. A dismantling is the word that keeps coming to mind.
Can we say that the end-of-season swoon is nothing to worry about now?

All I can say is that was a thing of beauty (that and I got your 11-7 right here).

That was a delightful basketball game. Defense was a little shaky the first couple minutes, then got strong and stayed strong until the game was decided. Offense was about as expected, but a couple very nice baskets off hard cuts and outstanding passes. Whittington hitting the corner 3 could be big the rest of this season if he can now do it consistently.

Lets leave our last loss in Feb ;D Let's get some NCAA wins so we don't have to worry about folks pushing an agenda chopping up the end of the season to create a swoon. So, yeah, let's leave our last loss in February ;D

Senior night turned into a freshman coming out party for Whit! Brey for CoY? Aww, Little Madge holds a grudge! You're right though. Brey for COY looks silly tonight. Very happy for JT3 and the seniors. THAT'S the way you end a home season.

So happy for Jason and Henry. What a great a way for the seniors to go out - dominating a quality opponent so thoroughly that you have time to get interviewed nationally by Jay Bilas on Big Monday!
These last two games have been wonderful to watch. The defense tonight was a thing of beauty and having everyone play so hard, but also so well, for Jason and Henry was special. This is something those two will always remember and they deserve it. No one has ever out-worked Jason and Henry is seizing this moment.
I cannot wait to see what comes next for this team. They play so well together, it was like 6 on 5 tonight when the Hoyas were on defense.

If this team is going to go anywhere, Hollis needs to find his stroke....like, now. Please Hollis, come back to us. Um...is my sarcasm meter just off? Are you serious?

Great effort from everyone and I couldn't be happier for Jason and Henry.
Big game from GW too and you can see the confidence growing offensively for him and Otto.
Not much else to say. Great game to watch.
And if Josh Hart doesn't commit to Georgetown, I'll just stop paying attention to high school basketball completely.

That's the best back to back defense since the 2007 Big East tournament. From 12:34 in in the game, down ten, ND scored two FG's the rest of the game.
Stat sheet is still pending, but the last read on Cooley was 1 for 5, no rebounds. Stat of the game right there, and a tremendous effort by Henry Sims.
15-1 at home. Well done. Marquette will be a war, but if USF and Cincinnati can knock each other out, the race for #4 may be decided by then.

What a great a way for the seniors to go out - dominating a quality opponent so thoroughly that you have time to get interviewed nationally by Jay Bilas on Big Monday! loved that! the interviews of JT3, Henry, and Jason by Bilas were a great way to cap a great game...and, yes, it was only possible b/c the Hoyas disposed of the Irish so quickly that ESPN needed to fill air time!! also props to the announcers for ignoring the "Jay goes to work" (or whatever it's called) graphic that came on during the stoppage when Jason and Henry were leaving the game and instead focusing on the well-deserved standing ovation the seniors were receiving.

This is great too look at: scores.espn.go.com/ncb/playbyplay?gameId=32058004612:33 of second half to 5:44 of second half...YOU GET NOTHING!! (OK, a couple of FTs, but still) Also, screw the full court press. Lock it down in the half court!! ;D Great game from all. HOYA SAXA!! (Also, do we get a higher seed in the NCAAs if the committee sees that we totally demolished the BE COY?) ;D

Championship defense. Enough said If there was a consistent, reliable, credible offense to go with it the Hoyas would be #1 in the nation.

Pretty sure Hart is a Hoya, he has been to the last 10 games sitting right behind the bench.

Great to finally beat the Irish after so many years. And good that Henry made Cooley look like a chump.
Brey is still probably going to win COY but it would be sweet if JTIII could finally get the recognition he deserves

Congratulations Henry and Jason. Thanks for the great leadership for all of our young players this season. Question to all board members. Who had us 22-6 and 12-5 in the Big East with one game to go? Let's go Hoyas. Ruin senior day @ Marquette just like we did in March of 2008.
