Another one of those fancy pants college programs that plays its games in a permanent structure that has seating for spectators and real toilets. They call it a "stadium" which if I'm not mistaken is taken from the Latin for "seriously, we have a real college football program." Apparently these stadium things are all the rage for all post-pop warner football these days. Maybe its just a passing fad though..... www.goccusports.com/facilities/brooks-stadium.html

With the size of the OL we now have, maybe it is time to go back to a more conventional offense. Let them get down in a 3 point stance once in awhile and go after it. They should average 6'4", 300lbs.

Hope we get a good replacement. We need to make sure the strides this offense has made the past two years continue.

Perhaps one day we will get really lucky and one of these guys might want to make a sizable donation which might get the MSF underway and named after them: William Bidwill (C'53), president and majority owner of the St. Louis/Arizona Cardinals since 1972; Carmen Policy (L'66), former president of the San Francisco 49ers and Cleveland Browns; Jim Schwartz (C'89), a four year letterman from 1985-88, is the current head coach of the Detroit Lions; Jerry Jones, Jr. (C'92), a letterman in 1988 and 1989, is vice president of the Dallas Cowboys. Or, the seventh commissioner of the NFL Paul Tagliabue (C'62).

People need to recognize that GU is a steppingstone and that, if people are successful, they will move on to better jobs. I kind of think it's great that, after many years of having a poorly-rated offense, our OC was good enough to move on to a better job.

Only at the very top of the college football heap are there schools that assistants would not leave to take the same position at other, bigger schools. That doesn't mean our MSF is sufficient.
