Get a defensive stop and our looks on offense will magically get better

I have no idea what defense we are playing. We look lost.

No confidence from anyone on the floor. Scared to shoot, missing bunnies. If we would just settle down we would discover why PItt has some of the worst defense in the Big East.

This team obviously has it within them to make the comeback.

Now it's getting chippy out there! Like it. If you go down, at least go down fighting hard.

This is why you need an elite point guard to create offense for team or to get team in transition. Sometimes you just need to get the ball and go--and get some F-ing possessions in the game instead of holding the damn ball and running pattern. It's the weakness of every III team (his obsession with pattern offense) and it sucks every year. Guys are fighting and really lucky not to be down 30 right now.
Count how many shots a Hoya takes with nobody under the basket to contend for a rebound and count how many times Hollis/Henry fade when near rim/contact. They have to play tougher.

Also get out of the 2-3 zone. There is a reason why Syracuse fan's hate playing Pitt.

Just sick and tired of the ******** missed FT's. Clark and Porter left 4 pts on the court in a game they struggle to score. That just can't happen and it's happened far too many times. Knock the damn things down!

Nice run to close out the half. 11 points we can come back from.

What were we on FTs? Effectively 1-6?

Nice run to close out the half. 11 points we can come back from. They can comeback--But you have to JUST PLAY and quit being tied to an offense that isn't effective and it's limiting possessions. IF you are the better team, then run up and down and get more shots up. This offense has sucked far too often for this to be called an "off" night and part of the reason is they are getting nothing from Markel Starks at the PG position and Jason Clark isn't a true point--doing a nice job and today--like Jabril as PG--at least he's got them shot attempts and he's willing to compete and not back down against Pitt. Hollis might be banged up-but either get after it--or sit. The wimpy fading from basket/contact isn't going to get it done. Worst half Henry's played all year. He was horrendous.

That was a good last 4 minutes of the half. Shots started to fall, more aggressive on D. Keep it up, guys

Pathetic display so far. This team is cratering. JT3 has to figure out why his teams do this every season. Just awful to watch. Guru, what is your deal/agenda? You did this last time during the Rutgers game! Didn't the crow sandwich you ate after time expired teach you your lesson? And even if the Hoyas lose today, they don't need this carping nor does one loss equal a trend. If you keep it up, we'll have to consider it seriously as potential trolling and act on it as such. You've been forewarned. On the first half, as stinky as the offense has been, the defense has been even more disappointing. Easy lay-ups, open 3s and Hoyas playing matador defense on dribble penetration. Turn up the D and they have a chance in this game....

It's one thin to lose to this Pitt team. It's quite another to lose to them like this. Completely embarrassing. Did they cancel the second half?
